I have a SS ggts base that I would like to trade for some ody v1 ceramics.. I only have 1 and I'm really concerned I may break it and be out of luck using it... I have a ggts base that I received and since I don't have a ggts I don't really need it..I am looking for about 5 ceramics.. I don't think they will be made again..

Thanks and I hope IMEO doesn't mind me posting this here..if so IMEO you can delete this post..

Thanks Kevin

Kev that was a brand new one in their as I took the other one out to clean before i sent you it and it fell apart, as long as you leave them alone they will last for months and months, you'd of been better off keeping the base just incase and it makes the full kit more desirable.
I have 3 spares for mine which I bought when the ody came out and that's the first time I've had to replace one, you worry too much ;)

Thinking I can cut a channel the size of the wick, and just run the wick in the channel and wrap coils around the ceramic.. Dan, I only cut on the air stone today, but if you like I can send you a few pieces, but you will need a diamond dremel wheel to really form it.. I used a metal blade but it ate it up pretty quick..
And do you use the Nextel wick? And if so where do I find it, I did get an inch or 2 piece with the Penelope I bought, but really not sure how it is being used..

Here is the link to what I believe is the "preferred" ody nextel method http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/gg/261773-ody-using-nextel-xc-116-without-moding-ceramic.html

I have personally never used the stuff, but some people swear by it. I was thinking the mrkrinkle method could be a good way to use the ceramic wick idea though. Im pretty happy with silica but I did sign up for the coop for the wicks just to try out. Cutting up an airstone gives me flashbacks to the blue foam and tea bag days......
