Grimmer,

I just turned 37 on the 19th. I started smoking on a regular basis around 15-16. Gradually worked my way up to 2-2 1/2 packs a day.

I am hoping after 2-3 years it will reverse or my overall lung health will improve so that it really isn't an issue. I'm gunna start doing some walking here soon to build my cardio strength back up. I still tire out fairly quick but nothing like I did when I was smoking.

How old are ya? Ive read that lungs can heal themselves but it will take a few years. But depending on the damage it is questionable. when you go back post your results. I hope that is reversable but since you've quit smoking the body can be very resiliant and make a huge come back.

Rob my children are older than you are. I started smoking about the same age. I am so fortunate to have been able to quit so easily using a HV PV. I need business cards. I can pass those out all day long. I keep putting you info on sticky notes.

I think if Michelle wasn't picking on you about your pacifier she would be picking on you for something else. I think she just likes to pick on you because she loves you. :):):) I hope you get a big package from Greece today.

Stormy are you sure you dont know me personally.....LOL Cause your right I would and I do.....:D:D:D:D

Grimmer255 - Rob never smoked in the house either. And even though I tease him and make the comments he knows that I would rather him vape than smoke analogs any day. I can see a huge difference in his health thats for sure.

I am doing the same thing I started out walking for 20 mins a day for the first week (everyday). Now I am tagging on 1 or 2 mins everyday to my walk time and I also record the time and my average heart rate (watches come with everything these days lol). Im hoping to start jogging in a few months so I wont have to walk everyday lol....

I was walking just about every day a year ago and had got myself down to around 200 pounds combined with diet. Since we started selling e-Cigs also I am pretty much tied to my desk during the day and got a little lazy plus eating too much. I gotta get back at it pretty soon though.
yea hanging out on the forums and desk careers can make you forget to do some exercise. If you like tec stuff... get the wii and wii fit. That thing is awesome and fun. plus its a heck of a work out. Especially the game called Active... its no joke but you can start out at your own pase and the game will help you target the areas that you need burn. They also have a cam for your workouts and will tell you exactly which exercises will help you lose in areas needed. The best part is you dont have to leave your home. Did i mention that its very entertaining to watch other people use it.... lol

I've been talking to Rob about a WII and WII fit. I lost 40 pounds doing the Weight Watchers and walking a couple times of week but with it being so cold I haven't been walking. I would like to lose another 10 to 15 pounds but having a difficult time getting over that hump that you tend to get when losing weight.

I did real good on weight watchers once but my husband was very slim and he only liked fried food. He thought I could fry him something and not eat it. Fat chance of that ever happening. He has a little belly on him now. I really need to get back on the program. He brings home sweets all the time. It is all his fault I am over weight. Bless his heart.
I quit eating ice cream so he started buying different flavors trying to find some I liked. I liked it all I was just trying to be good and not eat it.

what i like about the wii fit is there are several games to choose from. like skiing, tenis, balance, ski jumping and so many others and that comes with the wii fit board. Then there are several other work out game s you can get like the advance... which is my favorite and it comes with those restance bands for several exersises. then you can get a cam which look at you to make sure your doing the exersises properly and help you target the areas you want slim. yes it will cost around 450 - 550 bucks give or takel for all of it.. but. that includes the wii, wii fit board, advanced workout game, extra controler, touch charger pad, extra rechargable batteries for controler and wii fit board, and wii cam. Not to shabby for all that stuff.

Ya it sounds like it would be cheaper going that route than being hooked into a contract with a fitness club and you dont even have to leave home....lol

how long have you been using yours?

I've been using it for a couple of months now and I love it... the cam is a bit tricky... you have to be at least 6ft from it so it can work properly. But other than that I love it...yoga, boxing, skiing, golf driving range and my favorite for a warm up is this game where your balancing on this ball on a river and you have to shift your weight on the board to get the ball rolling and its surounded by cliffs and you have to shift left to right and forwards and backwards and after 20 mins of trying to get to the end, you will feel it in your calves and its very good for ballancing.... one thing ive noticed since playing that game Im not shifting my wieght to one leg as much anymore while standing for long periods of time.
