Just a heads up I’m experimenting with dual coil on Penelope @ .8-.9 ohms. That’s the ohms that show on Provari. On Provari I get an E1. She won’t put out for me. GGTS says yes!!!

I’m doing a comparison between kick at 10 watts and without it at 3.7volts using same coil. So far the results are a bit staggering. I’m getting a much stronger 10 times stronger vape and heat production not using the kick with a single 18490 battery dual coil at .9 than with kick at 10 watts on same battery.

The heat and taste is really really good. I’m going to order a voltage meter so I can see if the kick is raising the voltage under that dual coil not sure if it is being that I’m getting a stronger throat hit and heat production without it. It can possibly be the way I did the dual coil. I still have to play with it.

If you guys interested in this let me know and I’ll keep you posted.

Unless I am doing something wrong at .8 ohm 3.7v power that is just over 17 watts. If battery is fresh charge @4.2v it would be 22 watts. Does dual coil effect watts? If not it should be much hotter then the Kick at 10m watts...right?

I FRACKING NEW IT I FREAKING FRACK %^&*@#(#

NEW IT!!! Thanks Pete for confirming my initial gut feeling. Thanks for helping a way to help folks save money no need for KICK... on GGTS if they do the Dual coil setup that I am documentating.

A kick is for consistency Bishop. Not everything is about getting the most wattage through a coil.

On a typical battery going through the range of voltages you start off at almost 18 watts and finish at 10 watts with a 1 ohm coil. From 4.2 down to 3.2 volts.

That's a huge difference, obviously. Some people, me included, just want to vape at a consistent wattage through the battery range. It's also nice to have in case you have some remaining high res stuff and want to pump good wattage through it without stacking batteries.

I'm having trouble getting the kicked GGTS to fire consistently. It actually doesn't fire more often than firing. Push the button, nothing, release, press, fires.

Are there some little tweaks or something that I need to do? I haven't done anything to the contact points or button, all stock.

BTW, if you mentioned tips in the vid, my bad. I didn't watch the whole thing.

Check two things . First you have to use a good charged batt, the kick will cut off at about 3.5-3.6v therefor misfires or nothing at all.
Second, check if the spring-negative has good contact .

Also disassemble and clean the GGTS button and stretch the button spring.

Clean the bottom cap Axis Post (Advance Order - Axis Post) and battery spring. -you can use the kick without the battery spring, since the kick provides shorts protection.-

Clean all the GGTS tubes threads.

Cleaned everything you mentioned with some iso alcohol, and removed the bottom post spring. Working every time now, thanks!
