I guess this applies just as much to us adult as kids.....
One year I was broke around the holidays. I went and made cookies to give as gifts. Year after that I was a bit better off and bought gifts. People said they wanted the cookies more. A few years I think it might be cheaper to just buy people a gift, less time and money.
Anyone else have similar things happen? Run out of money one year, give a cheap or home made gift that people liked better than a store bought gift and have the making of somethign turn into a tradition?
Ran out of time this year so only making a small batch before making the 30 or so dozen for the folks on my list.... This alone should keep the post office afloat for a few weeks
