I am thinking of gifting ejuice to all my smoking friends for Christmas ... I was wondering what people thought of this idea?

Obviously I am thrilled that vaping has given me the ability to quit a 30 year smoking habit ... however, I don't want to come across as someone preaching, similar to someone trying to push religion on people.

If you were a smoker still ... would you appreciate the gesture? Or would you think ... dude, vaping is not for me ... I'll quit on my own time.

Some people I know are close to jumping on the vape ... so I may even include a starter kit also.

Cheers :2cool:

Last Christmas I gave a friend a simple starter kit with 2 bottles of liquid. 1 tobacco (she hated it) and 1 fruit (she loved it). She hasn't smoked since and says it was one of the best presents she ever got. It varied with other people. My son vapes but still smokes, just a lot less and my brother only vapes when he's here, but he still smokes a lot.

What have you got to lose? It's like any other present really, you just never know if they'll like it or not.

I think it is a good gift idea for someone who has tried or wants to switch/quit.
I also try no to get on my vape soapbox but when people ask I spew all that I have learned. It is become comical at work. Someone will ask what I am doing and someone else will say " now you have done it. Pull up a chair "
Oh well, I have two converts on the books.

I think it depends on the person. If you know they have no interest in quitting or have never expressed interest in your vaporizer, it may not come off as kind of a gesture as it really is. If they have ever taken an interest in your vaporizer, or have ever said they need to quit, I think it is a great idea. If you aren't sure maybe bring up vaping I'm conversation and get a gauge of how interested they might be to try it.

I have transformed few smokers, so they will definitely be getting some supplies for Christmas. I can only think of one real smoker left in my life and I'm still struggling with whether I think he would appreciate an e-cig or not. Either way, I think vaporizers will always make a great gift and I think you are awesome for wanting to introduce people to the vaping world!

lol at the " now you have done it. Pull up a chair " ... basically, I want all my smoking friends to experience the liberating experience they could have by ditching smokes :2cool:

Absolutely, I want to share also but I don't force it upon anyone by any means. My boss is amazed at my Silver Bullets. I don't see him very often but when I do the first thing he says is " where is your peace pipe? " and I lift up my arm and show him it is in my hand. :vapor:

That's exactly what I'm doing this year for my friend who wants to quit so I think it's a great idea! Like glasseye said, "what have you got to lose?" I got my friend a glitzy little kit that fits her to a tee with all the little bells and whistles she'll need. She loves my stuff so I got her similar items just frillier, specific for her. I even made everything pink and decorated her lanyard. I want her to love it enough to have it on display, wear it like a piece of fine jewelry, LoL. Her husband doesn't want to invest in another kit since buying their first cig-a-like one so that's the reason I'm getting her an upgrade with some pizzazz. I did tell her I'd need at least an hour or two of her time when I see her next time (to exchange presents). I want to give her as much information as she can stand before she drives off. I'm so excited to give it to her. You all have a thumbs up from me to give kits and ejuice as gifts, I would have loved to receive such a gift. Happy Vaping!

depends.

if it was wife, brother, sister, etc. it would most definitely be not received well at all. they might be asked to leave if it were in my home.

parents... different story. i'd give it a half hearted try more than likely. if i enjoyed it, i might stick with it. good juice would be important. a flavor or two worth my while would be just as important. then i'd need to know where to get those juices again.

other folks... really depends on the person and the situation.

though, i will say i've already considered the same thing for my mother at least. i think she'd receive it well since my brother and sister insist she doesn't smoke around the grand kids. they're her heart so at least there are times when she'll take it to heart and give it a try.

ROFL @ pull up a chair. i've already been warned in my weeks worth of infinite wisdom, myself.

What good would it do to give ejuice to your smoking friends?? You've now put them in the position of either 1) shelling out money (on equipment) to use the juice or 2) throw it away.

A basic starter kit might be good if they've expressed any interest. Why not simply ask them if they'd be interested in trying it?

I have tried the approach ... why not try it?

The gifting idea is to help nudge them along ... I always tell people ... It isn't for everyone.

And if you are still not interested after I gift it ... please pay it forward to someone else :2cool:
