You're welcome. If you find an ecig you're wondering about here's some video reviews:
E-Cigarette Reviews
And you also have a safe and Merry Christmas. Wishing you and your Dad the best of Luck, Vapoor.

You guys are all great! Everyone has been so helpful and I hope that I am able to make a reasonably quick decision for my Dad's Christmas Gift. I really am concerned and this, I feel, is the answer.

To everyone that has been so awesome. Merry Christmas to you and your family! I very much appreciate all of your insight and guidance.

Hi Broadcastguy & Merry Christmas to you, Your Dad & your Family & welcome to the forums.
I had been a 1.5 pad guy for 55 years & tried a lot of different ways to quit but none of them worked till I found E-Cigs.
Quit overnight actually, & Im feeling fine, tasting & smelling things I haven't tasted or smelled in lots of years.
For me the biggest thing about E-Cigs is the fact of the hand to mouth motion that you cant get with patches or gums. I think that was a big part of helping me change to E-Cigs. I hope your Dad has the same results I & lots of others got from E-Cigs & the info on the ECF forums.

Your dad sounds like my Mother in Law. She "insisted" that she get something that "looked and felt like a cigarette", and in no way wanted to "push a button". Plus she had to have menthol. After arguing with her for a little while, I bought her exactly what she asked for.

Tuesday she ordered an Ego...I think she gave up on menthol too............Its only been 2 weeks..

Alrighty! I got him the eGo-T last night and he tried it out today (because I couldn't wait to give it to him and secretly didn't want my condo to smell like smoke the whole time he's visiting) and he said that the cravings to go outside subsided. He did, however, go outside and have a real cigarette a while later. He said he needed to get used to the idea. He was quite surprised at how close to the real thing it was - minus the tar and other 100 toxins.

So, thank you all again! I'm hoping he'll stick with it.

That's soooo cool broadcastguy. Really, really, really cool. Like I told my wife it's about 95% the same as an analog. You just made my holdays and I thank you for that.
minus the tar and other 100 toxins.
Actually you can tell your Dad there are 4000 chemicals in analogs- embalming fluid, cyanide, carpet glue...
As for having a smoke that's ok and I give both yourself and your Dad full credit. You cuz you went the extra mile; your Dad cuz he was open minded enuff to try them out. Give him time and eventually he's gonna light up one day and HATE the taste.
A Very Happy Holiday to you and your Loved Ones.
Sincerely, Vapoor.
P.S. I've got a friend that's on National TV every day and I'm soooo close to converting him :D
