Gin instead of Vodca

Hello all i was just wondering can you use gin instead of vodka to thin out 100 vg e-juice? When ever i read some of these diy information sites it says PGA (pure grain alcohol) and im not a drinker but isnt gin a PGA alcohol? so just wondering if anyone has tried this out if so how was it

I don't know, but talk about killing two birds! Lol. I think they may suggest vodka instead because gin has a more distinct flavor. If you buy the right vodka, it's "almost" flavorless.

I think Gin has a base flavor of juniper. That might come through on the taste.

I use PGA [Everclear] or distilled water & don't get any bad/unwanted flavor from it. Never tried Gin or Vodka.

I used gin as a rhinner for vg and liked it. I did set the bottle out for about a week. I guess the alcohol evaporated. The vg was still thinner.

Leave the vodka out long enough that all the alcohol evaporates from it, and what you have left is water.

There is no reason at all to thin VG with any alcohol .... just thin it with water.

Ummm I think you're talking about PG (Propylene Glycol)
