Okay so I am looking at the reo grand lp but I got my ipv 2 in and love the adjustability of vv/vw

So rumors have it that there is a vv reo can some point me in the right direction please

Here is my list for what I was gunna buy:Reo grand low pro 156.00 white outside black wrinkle door reosmods.com
Repair kit 25.00 reosmods.com
2x 6ml bottles .65 each reosmods.com
2x 6ml bottle tubes 2.00 each reosmods.com
Aluminum button 6.00 reosmods.com
Reomizer 4.0 = 45.00

But is this vv model the bees knees
For someone like me that's in love with vv/vw devices?

Does thus use a chip? Kicker? What's the dealo?

Things I want:
To sub ohm
to blow massive clouds
Not have to drip and drive
Use a variety of rdas
Run a rda in single/dual/quad mode

Thanks

I have a VV Grand but only because it went up for sale in the classifieds. Apparently they aren't made anymore. If you're looking to go sub-ohm then the VV model wouldn't work for you anyway. I can't remember what the exact limit was right this second but I was warned not to go below a certain ohm level because the unit would shut down, and that warning came directly from the Reo master himself. I want to say it was right about 1.7 ohm, or very close to that.

Edited: I was wrong, Rob did not state an ohm limit, just suggested I stay close to 2 ohms or upwards.

The vv Reo Grand is no longer made. You can still find them listed on the classifieds from time to time. The LP Grand will do all the things on your list depending on how you build your atty. The LP will accept any bottom feed atty. Rob has some on his site at reosmods that are triple post for dual and, I guess, quad coils. The mod itself will handle just about whatever you throw at it. The limiting factor would be whatever battery you are using in it. That shopping list looks good, but it's all strictly mechanical, no chips, no kicks, although I've heard that one will come out that can use a kick, but not sure.

I only meant to answer your question of has anyone put an sx350 into a reo ever, I don't build anything to sell. I just modify them for my own use :)

if you want help or guidance of how to do it yourself I'd be willing to help, then it all comes down to how much patience you have and how bad you really want it :)

a mech reo is still a great vaping machine. if I couldn't build it into a regulated mod then I'd still be using it as a mech. a regulated chip is a luxury but not a necessity really :)

awesome :) sorry but I'm much more used to people saying they want it but can't build it :) yeah there is a recent thread from a guy who put a dna30 in the base of a metal reo which is a very cool idea. I did a dna20 in a metal reo myself but I didn't fit it internally, I built an extension for the base which made the reo taller. the dna chip is a bit more compact and versatile, but limited to 30 watts which honestly is enough really, although the sx350 chip with 60 watts is def cool too, but a bit larger.

since building a metal reo I've really gotten into the wood mods and honestly I think it's easier to put a chip in a wood reo than a metal one, but of course either can be done depending on what you want. what you need is fairly simple, the chip and some wire and perhaps a new switch, everything else comes down to which chip you use and where you actually put it. I've done it with a chip fully inside of the body and I've done it where the chip is almost external, with a finishing cap to cover it afterwards... the dnas can be built completely into the inside of the mod if you want that, where the sx350 is large enough that it would have to be more like half in/half out.

here's a few examples

this is how I fit the sx350 to the wood reo

and here's an example of internal vs external mounting of the dna

and this one shows the dna install into my metal reo in the background too

so there are options depending on what kind of reo you use and what chip you use and where you want to put the chip. I guess decide what you want and how you want it would be the first step :)
