I tried e-cigs about a year ago and didn't like it. The one I tried the carts only lasted about 5 or 6 puffs so gave up on it. I didn't know about refilling them and a bunch of other e-cig stuff.

I recently found this site and its wealth of information. Enough to get me interested again so I thought i'd join.

After some serious reading for the past 2 weeks I ordered an 808D-1 and really like it so far but I've only had for 3 days now.

I also am new to the whole experience but find the 808d-1 a good place to start. There are so many vendors out there with great cartomizers and wonderful flavors. I personally have had fabulous luck with Vapor4Life. I am not experienced enough yet to think about dripping or refill on my cartomizers - maybe some day. They have a lot of options and several sample packs that give you a chance to find your favorites. I actually tried a little over a year ago as well with a pen style that I sucked juice in on a regular basis so it didnt' last. This time I'm done with the analogs...two months and couldn't be happier. Hang in there..

Hoping to find a flavor that I enjoy so I can quit the 2 pack per of analogs too. I got 6 different flavors when I ordered my 808 - I'm still testing the first bottle.

good choice on the 808. i think that's the easiest for a new user to start with. i've been at this for a few months, tried several models and found myself enjoying the 808 the most.

A lot of people are going with the KR808 lately and I think it's a great thing! I don't own one, but I've been reading a lot about them. They seem to be a sturdy, long lasting battery and a great intro kit.

I began with a 808D-1 and I think I'll stick with them. I've upgraded my batteries, of course, but I find cartomizers to be much more convenient than the atty/cartridge combo (yes, I know they're available for the 510, but I'm stuck in my ways!). They've done a fantastic job of keeping me away from the death sticks.
