I have tried more than 5 different e-cigs and sub-ohm kits, some of them were recommended on forums and I did my research, but yet I constantly kept running into leaking problems and quickly burning coils. For example someone recommended to me Endura T18, everything was great at first and actually there was no leakage but coils lasted a week and 4 out of 5 newly bought coils were DoA. Tired of this stuff.

Is there actually a SOLID kit I can get my hands on? This is my last attempt to get into vaping. I'm after a mouth-to-lung device.

The nautilus mini tank seems to be highly praised, what do you think about this kit Aspire Premium Kit

My first real vape kit was an iStick TC40W and a Nautilus Mini. Long lasting and pretty well leak proof in my opinion. Good Luck on your journey.

Seems tempting. So I don't remember much about tehnicalities because it's been a while since I've vaped... Is that iStick suitable for high in nicotine liquid? It's not as "strong" as sub-ohms right? Because I couldn't handle the temperature and coughing from large amount of vapour.

I generally deal with the higher end of things rather than the pen stuff, but it’s likely considering the amount of vape gear you’ve bought that all you need is a different tank. Are you willing to deal with wound coils or do you need drop in coils?

Drop in coils =)

For a mtl vape, the Nautilus stuff is excellent. I would recommend going for something like the new Nautilus 2 tank as it uses the same Nautilus coils but is top fill (as is the Triton mini if you can find it). The Nautilus X is another mtl choice that gets excellent feedback (with the newer 1.8 ohm coil). Pair it with a simple but full function regulated mod like a Pico or even an Aspire Speeder and you should be in good shape.

Add in a decent 20A Samsung, LG, Sony battery (not from Amazon, the third party sellers there sometimes dump fakes on there like eBay) from a reputable source in your country (for the UK there are a few, but I'm not familiar, I will attach a Mooch recommended battery chart that will give you some UK dealers at the bottom). You can charge in the mod, but generally it's recommended to use an external charger, a 2 battery bay Nitecore is more than sufficient and should be inexpensive (it also means you can have a few batteries so while one is charging you're still vaping along just fine). you can even hold off on the charger a month or two if budget requires. That's it, you're good to go.

If you go the pico and nautilus route get at least 2 batteries.... with that atty you will get less than a day if run time. 3 battery rotation assures you don't use the same battery 2x in 24hours. Get a charger even though you can charge in the mod it not really good for the mod or the batteries to do so.

Thanks, battery ordered. What's the difference between aspire triton and nautilus x? Both are available.
Similar atties.... the X us much newer on the market.... there are probably more aftermarket coils available for the Triton.... Triton/Atlantis coil is common to many Manufactures. The nautilus coil is better for MTL imo.... but the atty has a lot to do with that.

Alright. Pico stick + triton mini + 2 batteries + bay charger.

I hope it will be better than the last time.

Solid choices. To help make it work out, be sure to always prime a new coil well, give it several minutes to soak up juice in the tank, and start out with a few unpowered draws to help pull liquid into the coil, then start at a low power, like 5W and increase 1W at a time until you reach your personal sweet spot for performance. chances are it'll be around 10-12W, although possibly lower. Also on the Triton mini remember to always have the juice flow control open for vaping so juice gets to the coil and you don't get a dry burnt hit, and close the juice flow control when you take the top off to fill to make leaking very unlikely.

Next most important step (maybe even more than the above) is finding a juice you like. Without that the best vape hardware in the world won't give you a pleasant vape experience. Also, really don't go over a 70 VG juice with the above (a 50/50 VG/PG might even be better). A Nauti coil will not handle a max VG juice well. Finally, remember, with a Triton mini you use Nautilus coils (not Nautilus X) and Triton mini coils, NOT Triton coils, which are made for the "full size" Triton/Atlantis family.

Thanks man, I appreciate all the info. Saved this post so I can go back to it when the package arrives.

If your going the triton route.. research the coils... because wether or not vaping works us going to depend on you finding the correct coil for you....

FWIW.. I never did... until I made my own coils. Even in me Triton coil using atty.. I diy the coils.

I also wouldn't quit smoking at first.. vape and smoke side by side at first.... at least for me that's what worked.... over 6 month period went from 1 to 2 PAD to vape only. I didn't try to quit... vaping just replaced smoking....

Smoking IMO is so much more easy than vaping. That going cold turkey on cigs might not work with a vape better than it does otherwise.

I think you've chosen a solid setup, you may need to experiment with the coils that are right for you. Agreeing on the e-juice, you may have to play with your nic levels some (and possibly PG/VG ratios) to find the right "flow" in your tank, and to make sure you are getting enough nicotine. The new devices are more powerful but if you are using a higher resistance, anywhere from 12--24 is not unreasonable. Just learn the sx of nic overload (headaches, yawning, there are a few others).

I agree on the dual use. I dual used for a while, quit vaping entirely, then came back with the intention to quit due to health issues. That made it somewhat easier, but I did dual use some in the beginning, I just made sure to keep vaping. I would make myself vape right before, and right after smoking, paying attention to how smoking made me feel. I was told when I got here to just Keep Vaping no matter what, and that advice was useful. I think a UK study came out that said most dual users who kept vaping were able to switch over to vaping exclusively after a period of time. Count the cigarettes you don't smoke, not the ones you do, and don't give up! It does get easier. It's not Super Easy, don't get me wrong, I think switching to vaping exclusively is quite difficult at times, but NOTHING like cold turkey....

Best of luck, I hope things work for you this time around....

Good choices. I use the Triton minis and use Aspires BVC 1.6 coils in them and get a very nice MTL vape. I hope that you have success this go around.

On the dual or switch method there is only the best way for you. I fell into vaping accidentally when I went for a cigalike for travel as I was sick and tired of going down the elevator for a freaking cigarette. After 5 days of that I was completely switched over. Others find dual use for a few months works better. Don't pressure yourself over it, whatever works for you is the right choice.

Eh. I did everything as you guys said and I checked a filling/priming guide for triton mini and still I can't use it. After priming I filled the tank and left it to sit for 5min, I took 3 dry hits and then tried to vape. There's only tiny amount of vapour coming out and liquid spitting in my mouth + leaking through airholes.

I've put 2 drops on each "cotton window" and couple inside the coil, the tank was in filling mode when filling and airholes were closed. Started at low vattage but there is no smoke even after going up to 10.

I don't get this. I need a cig now.

@Edit Left it for 10min and it's working now, just not sure what did I screw up for tank to leak. Will have to get a better juice this one is meh =)

@Edit2 Had to refill and again I had a low amount of vapour coming and juice spitting in my mouth, I blew inside while firing to clean airholes and there was quite a lot of liquid. Is the coil flooded?
