Hello everyone, and thanks for letting me join this massive community. I've been reading here for about 2 years and decided it was time.

Now the crappy part; I consider myself to be a pretty experienced user of all kinds of ecigs. Rarely does something raise my suspicions these days. Lots of rock solid devices and tanks to choose from. And more come out every week. So on with my saga; I am a proud evic user. I use carto tanks, bccs, and the evic eca tank my buddy got me for my birthday. This is my problem, I wanted replacement ego-c heads because that's what the tank uses. So I ordered some from a site I'd used more than a few times. I get them in the mail today and when I open the box and slide out the "blister pak" of heads, there's clearly moisture inside of them. The seal has no signs of breaching. And I took one apart. The wick is green. Smells terrible and the bottom end is also wet with green mold to accent it. I don't know how to search proper for this issue. Spent a half hour trying to come up with a search string that worked. Nothing. Hence this mammoth post.

Does anyone know what the hell is happening? Aside from the obvious fact that I got ripped off. I'm embarrassed to say how much. Anyone wanting to see the pic of the disassembled head please PM me.

I've tried to contact and no dice so far. My bank is willing to help, and I think mail fraud is still illegal. If it's not, I'm quitting my job tomorrow. I'm gonna wait it out another 24 hours. I won't name the site out of what little respect I have left for them, but what retailer doesn't use silica packets for long term storage? I have one in my guitar case. Keep a few in the gun safe too. In 2 years of buying online, I've never been ripped off. I buy local when I can. But that ain't often. How could moisture seep into a sealed package?

Not a fan of the protank. I have one but it's collecting dust. The eca and a glass dct tank with a smotek dct-2a are my daily companions. Bottom coil just don't suit me well. I'm 100% PG so my protank leaks and showers my mouth regularly. I have a mild allergy to VG. plus I think it tastes like flowers. After 2 years I still only use tobacco flavors. All my friends have started using nasty .... like piña colada and coconut cream pie, strawberry-banana, etc. I just don't think nicotine should taste like a jolly rancher.
