I just bought and received 12 of the 1/2 oz cobalt blue dropper bottles. They work perfect for the DIY juice, but if you make large batches, you may need to go larger on the bottles. Good bottles, and extremely fast shipping. Had mine 2 days later!

John

Thanks..I was trying to figure out if I should go with the 1/4 oz or 1/2 oz.. may give the 1/2 oz a try

Those prices are outrageous compared to the site I found two days ago and ordered from. You should definitely check out the link below for great deals not only on bottles, but also menthol crystals and vegetable glycerin. It's too bad they don't have PG and syringes, they'd be my one stop shop for everything but hardware and juice.

Bah, still can't post links.

www dot mountainroseherbs dot com

I got 16oz. of VG for $6.95, 4 oz. of menthol crystals for $10, 15ml amber bottles WITH droppers for $1.25 each, and 30ml amber bottles with droppers for $1.30 each. They have a lot more sizes too like 2oz (60ml) and up, and everything is really cheap.

Just an FYI they also have a regular web store. CandleChem, Plastic Bottles, Amber Dropper Bottles, Cobalt Blue Dropper Bottle, Boston Round Bottles This store has the plastic squeeze bottles that I think hold about 10ml. I've ordered from their website before and they are wonderful people to deal with. Great shipping and services, I'm not affiliated with them in any way, just a happy customer.

Safira, Based on your glowing recommendation, I checked this site and they also carry small (1/6 oz.) glass green bottles. I hadn't seen those before! :) These will be perfect for on the go situations. Once I can find a dropper for them, I am going to get some. Does anybody know where to get small glass droppers for 1/6 oz. bottles? Or, even if such a thing exists?

Many thanks to all for getting me going in the right direction with these bottles. I am going to start looking for the little droppers now..... :D

mamacat, I notice they don't give the size of their bottle openings. If I remember correctly bottle openings have sizes to them like 15/20, I don't have a clue to the meaning of the numbers though. (someone please correct me if I'm wrong)

I'd shoot them an e-mail, maybe they might be willing to sell you the droppers if they have some that fit. At least they can help you out a little. They have been nice to me & my crazy questions, droppers for those bottles would be an easy question compared to what I've had to ask.

Those do look better for on the go situations. I personally don't like the plastic bottles that I have on hand right now. I swear the plastic leaks or I don't always get the lid on right. Let me know what they say, I'd like to get some too. (I wonder if the lorann dropper lids would fit on them?)

I think I will send them an e-mail about the droppers or at least ask what the opening size is - not a bad price for them - huh?

I have some LorAnn droppers!! That is an excellent thought! :D

I will let you know what I find out.

EDIT - e-mail sent

Here is the response I received:

"We do not carry the droppers for these bottles...Not sure if the LoranOil droppers would fit or not..."

I forgot to ask them originally about the size of the mouth opening of the bottles (that was a big duh on my part), so I have sent another e-mail to them. You might end up not being so bothersome to them after they get done with me. :)

Will let you know what I find out. They sure are quick in response time, tho! :D

Here is the latest response:

"It is and 18-400 neck....Same size as the 1/2 oz Boston Round Bottles....Thanks again."

If anyone knows if the LorAnn's dropper will work with this size opening, please let me know.

EDIT - I will try again tomorrow, when I am not too tired to think! lol

I found some things out that might help. Those silly no.'s do have a meaning the 18 is the diameter in MM of the opening of the container. The 400 is the spacing for the threading, I was told most glass is 400 and most plastic will be 410. We could be OK on the spacing of the threading but the diameter of the dropper cap is what we need to measure. (I'm a stupid American who flunked metric class you don't want me doing this)

These are links I was given to explain it betterCap SizesFinish Description

Now here are 2 links I was giving with a great selection of bottles with droppers to fit. Oshun: plastic bottlesGlass and Plastic Bottles, Jars, Containers, Vials and Bottle Accessories

I was also told the search term we are looking for is 'dispensing closure' or 'orifice reducer'. Now dispensing closure I can see, orifice reducer???? I would have never in a million years typed that into google with my children around. That might get a fun reaction from my teenager thought. "Mom needs the computer I'm looking for some orifice reducer's."

ROTFLMAO!! The metric class failure - you are not alone my friend and I just had to go thru the whole traumatic experience again with my third grader! I finally had to get my Pyrex shot glass to make head or tails out of what I really needed and wanted. :)

I got 6 bottles today with droppers for $2 each. I thought it was a good deal seeing how I failed metrics class, too. The whole thing was giving me a migraine.

I ordered 3 Green and 3 Blue. I could have gotten 12 clear with droppers for the same price but I wanted COLOR!!! Yay - I am going to be happy - I can distinguish which to grab in the mornings.....lol

If no one has figured it out yet - I am blonde - lmao!
