I would personally be very afraid of a glass clearomizer. I expect clearomizers to be sturdy, at least enough to go leave in my pocket, or leave in my messenger bag as I bike 120 miles. My vape set up has survived such torture, but it's all metal. There's a reason I avoid glass on most things except cookware...

In regards to your G50, they don't look half bad. If anyone else here has any experience with them, please chime in.

miniprotank2.

- ego base
simple;
able to take apart of thorough cleaning
easy to find simple coil.

That G50 does have a protective jacket though; that's a plus.
It uses 510 thread; that's a minus for new vapers - more problems than an ego thread tank.

Thanks to everyone who has chimed in,

I regards to Metal Vapes, what about taste and how long you can go between cleaning it. I like glass because the plastic ones don't have a clear, crisp, clean taste to me and they seem to need to be cleaned every week while the glass have that clear, crisp, clean taste and go for about a month with refills only now need to clean.

I've never tried metal. Do they come in different types of metal; aluminum, tin, steel, silver, gold platinum? If so any idea about pro's and Cons of each?

Did I mention I liked a clear, crisp, clean taste?

My favorite by far is a Aspire Nautilus 5ML with BVC Coils. The airflow is fantastic and the vapor production is awesome with the right juice of course. I personally have dropped my Provari multiple times and never once have I gotten even a hair line crack in the glass, it's sturdier than it appears to be and since it's so small it requires significantly more force to crack it.

I have the kanger evod 2 and I love it! It's not glass but it's extremely durable metal on the outside and the new coil/wic is amazing! It's the same as in the bigger kanger tanks that I can't think of the names of at the moment lol thanks to 8 amaretto sours. Haha but really it's an amazing clearomizer for the price. About $8 and it has changeable drip tips!

Hi all :) I've been vaping about 8 months after smoking analogs 7 years. I could write a sad/funny book about my journey! (Sad because of the $ wasted on junk!) I should have a diamond tank and battery! The end result is two authentic Kanger Evod BDC's. One plastic, one glass, both changeable drip tips. I've had Kanger mini pt2 & 3 when newer and more $ no airflow valve available at that time. One day desperate for a vape, got an Evod. ..1st was the single coil plastic with attached plastic drip tip and YUCK I tasted the bpa (maybe not but definitely nasty platic taste).... got AUTHENTIC KANGER Evods with metal drip tip no plastic taste, can't tell the difference in my plastic and glass taste-wise. Honestly I'm content keeping the 2 Evods full, a different juice in each. Pink and lime green (I want aqua! Lol) Was sold an overpriced but high quality Kanger ipow VV 3-5 that never fails and keeps a change a long time compared to my old ego 3.7's. I only bring that up because the old small mAh with 3.7v batteries made me not like my tanks but this battery oomphs even a lame single coil (I set it at 3.6 to avoid burning). I'd recommend a glass AUTHENTIC! Kanger Evod Glass BDC with at least a Kanger ipow or better it puts out fab vapor + flavor (vanilla custard, cake batter, praline, King Cake & thin mint! omg!) As the Evod glass (and plastic) is covered with rubbery stuff or metal, and a window to see juice level I've had no problems after dropping (I can be a spaz!) Wish I'd had this set up to start, wasted so much $! Next purchase I'm considering MVP 2.O I taste as I love the features I need a passthrough! And considering rebuilding the approximately 35 empty dinosaur atty's I didn't throw away, and the ohm meter would be great. Sorry this was long and I know you didn't ask about batteries or juice.. but a poor battery can make a decent tank seem super lame, it does matter! I enjoy swapping vape-tales hope this didn't annoy anyone. Vape On Y'all! <3

Gotta go with the Mini Nautilus here with BVC coils. The flavor is amazing and the coils last forever. Pyrex is a very sturdy glass.

Yes. Having been through 16 months of rebuilding Kangers, I am happy to 'use and throw' BVC coils until something better comes along. I really don't want to go back to rebuilding... really.. zzzzzzz

It's worth if for a Kayfun, but that's about it. BVC coils cost me less than the price of 1 cigarette a day. :)

The gentleman's choice has to be the Kanger Protank 2 with air control base :) The coils can be rebuilt or cheaply replaced, the bottom coil with minimal wicking delivers good taste and vapour, they're just great. The Protank 3 works as well, but the coils aren't interchangeable, and I happen to think dual coils are mostly kiddology. The coil heats juice, that's all, so beware of mystic mumbo jumbo or ask yourself why 4 or 8 coils wouldn't be better. And vertical coils. Ha! You hold your mod exactly perpendicular to the centre of the earth? No? Then the coil isn't vertical, and in fact a standard horizontal coil is likely to working at a similar angle in use, if the angle matters, which it doesn't because you're only heating juice.

Seriously dude?
Best to speak on subjects you know about instead of those which you do not.

It's about the relationship of the coil to the airflow..not the position relative to the ground.

Yep. Even if I buy the coils at my local B&M, at full price, I'm spending soooo much less over the use of one coil than on stinkies in the same time-frame.
