I use both (iClear 30 and a Pro tank 2) One is plastic, the other is glass. I notice a slight improvement in taste on the Kanger (glass). I'm very careful and have dropped both off the PC Desk, no cracks in either on the same surface (touch wood).

The glass feels better, but both perform well and both clean up easily enough. I guess it's personal preference in the end. Why not grab one of each and see which you prefer? :)

I've been using a cinnamon juice in an evod for a few weeks now. I know I shouldn't but I figured when the tank cracks or leaks I'll get another. I just like the evod. I have a protank but have grown not to like the airy draw on it. But that isn't my point.

Over the weeks I've noticed the flavor of my cinnamon fading. Thinking maybe it might be the head, I replaced it. Still fading thought maybe it was me so I moved to a different flavor in a different tank for a day or 2. Go back to my cinnamon and first few hits are good flavor then fades away fast.

So while I'm not tasting my cinnamon much at all, I tried this new optimizer phenom from my local b&m. I thinks it's their own brand as I haven't heard or seen it before. Anyway,, it's basically an evod with a glass tank. Even used evod heads. So I filled it with fresh cinnamon from the same batch used in the evod and instant flavor. And the flavor is holding all day long.

The old evod's plastic was getting dull and turning color. I really think the cinnamon was eating away at the plastic and muting the flavor, let alone what I was vaping. Next I need to try some of my plastic safe flavors and see how they taste. I think it will be like my coffee. I can drink my coffee in a plastic or stryofoam cup, but I love and prefer it in a glass mug. Just tastes better.

sometimes a non cinnamon or citrus juice can surprise you too. I had a honeysuckle juice crack the drip tip right off an evod. I have some plastic tanks that frosted over and I'm honestly not sure what the culprit juices were. Definitely not cinnamon (hate it) and citrus juices are pretty rare for me.. it was something else, I think maybe banana.

I still use my Evods to test new juice samples I might not want to waste a carto on, etc, because I don't really care about what happens to them.

i am of the opinion that once the juice is mixed it poses no threat to plastic tanks.
the ingredients in e juice are used in plastic containers all the time.
not in pure form, but after processing there should be no problem.
cracked plastic tanks are caused by damage.ever drop your set up?
it may appear to have been unscathed but could have a hair line crack.
especially under the metal sleeve where you screw in your drip tip.
i have had 2 break right there with no apparent indication of a problem.
leakage or otherwise.took a good hit and the next time i picked it up
the sleeve and drip tip where gone.
i have used clove in a lot of my mixes with no problem.
what i think is happening is certain mixtures of flavors,pg,vg etc seep through
really small cracks more readily than other flavors.

regards
mike

There's a LOT of different kinds of plastic and some will react to certain chemicals while others won't. The rigid plastics that tanks are made from do seem to suffer effects and juice suppliers are very careful about the types of plastic bottles they use. It becomes apparent that juice is an issue when it completely frost/etches your plastic tank to opaque white, on the inside, in a day's time!
