Glass vs Plastic

I've tossed all of my plastic DIY equipment - beakers, calibrated cylinders, funnels, etc. - and replaced them with glass equipment. I found that the plastic equipment was too hard to clean, and I was afraid of flavor contamination. The glass equipment is a little more expensive, but it cleans very easily, doesn't discolor, and I don't have to worry about contamination. Has anyone out there also switched?

I'm looking to switch, but finding 5,10 and 15ml glass with dropper's is proving tough. You have a source that doesn't require you to buy $50 worth of each?

The Specialty Bottle place that PureVapes (forget his real name) recommended in the threaded about getting the flavor out doesn't have a minimum order. Shipping is so-so, but then again it is glass and I'm assuming takes a lot more care and bubble wrap than plastic bottles.

I am just looking into starting DIY after I move in a couple of weeks and that is something I had not thought of, maybe I should start with glass instead of finding I need to switch.

I started out with glass (beakers, funnels, syringes), so no need to switch. I have a few plastic syringes. They're so cheap (4/$) I consider them disposable.

I get most of my stuff here: Edmund Scientific: educational toys, gifts, hobby supplies & science equipment or on eBay. All of the DIY suppliers that I deal with only sell plastic equipment.
