2. Well, I've had the Istick a few hours now and I have to be honest and say that I'm not impressed with it at all. I've been getting consistent dry hits if I take more than a few seconds (I mean if the the puff counter hits' 2 seconds it's burning and omg, terrible) puff off of it. This is at any wattage I try! I've tried from 20-35watt on the subtank and it's horrible. Yeah, I can take a second and a half puff and it's fine, but I'm used to hitting it for the full 10 seconds on my aspire cf mod and not getting a dry hit ever. Being that I don't use nicotine anymore I NEED that full direct to lung hit to get some satisfaction from it. I didn't buy it to run it on low watts and take tiny puffs off of it. I'm pretty disappointed. It's a horrible thing to hit that thing hard with a direct to lung hit and get that searing burn and nasty taste that feels like your going to die.

So I'm back to the CF Mod for now. I don't want to burn up any coils so I'll mess with it more later. Maybe. I'm pretty sad I didn't get the MVP3.

Vape mail today!!!! Whoohooo! I got my first atty up and running after a few mishaps. I taste tested all my new juices with such ease.
Gotta say, it doesnt look too bad in my iStick 20!!

That looks pretty good Rachel....I find that they are small and sometimes when the juice pops it's intimidating...but I use them daily for just a touch of flavor.....

It did take some trials and errors to get it going. I was having leaking issues at first with even a drop or 2 of juice. I was able to play around with how i dripped and how much which made all the difference. I still have to keep checking to make sure the juice isnt running out to bottom but for the most part its been great. I dont think ill be dripping as a way to vape considering how much work is involved.....drip, 4 hits, repeat. ...too much work for me. But i love that i can taste test all my juice and not have to fill a tank and its great for the times you just want a touch of a certain juice but not a tank full.

That does not sound good. Maybe it's a bad unit? Is it just dumping the battery's charge to the atty? If you got it from the same place as I, you can probably return or exchange it. The owner is a good guy and will work with you with little or no trouble, I'm sure.

Bella I am so sorry your shiney is not working for you. I'm sure someone here can trouble shoot for you and get you going. Did you start off high voltage, cause you may have cooked the cotton and just need to replace it.

Bella, I know that the last thing you want is to take more dry hits, but.... One thing you might do to try to ascertain what is happening is to sacrifice a PT Min coil. Test it on both a fully charged iStick 20w and your 50w, but with only half a charge. The iStick 20w is known to dump its battery's full charge despite what's set by the user (no step-down). I suspect that the same thing is happening with your 50w--except, that since it has two batteries, it is dumping twice the voltage (similar to what might happen if you were to stack two removable batteries together on a mech). If the result is the same (flavor-wise), one can presume that the voltage regulating chip on the 50w is faulty.
