OKAY - Given the conversations - Who wants to try and answer this (No Prize - but a GOOD Laugh is possible) . . . :D

After going shopping for 2 hours for FOOD - besides forgetting the Coupons for over half the things "You" purchased and that were already "Bagged' - What's the worst thing "You" could forget ? ? ?

Well you made it to the store so it is not the keys.
You said it is worse than the wallet so it is not that and likely not money or credit cards/debit since they are purchased.
Having the wallet also means you have your I.D.
The items are already bagged so you didn't forget bags.
What else would someone need when shopping?
Ah, you forgot to get something very important on the list, like medicine.

NOPE - NA DA - ZILCH . . .

Although, Some of "You" almost got it right . . . ;)

Just picture this . . . There were 12 bags of Groceries, including Deli/Meats/Dairy/Frozen items . . . All rung up, bagged, and in the cart ready to go out the door and put into "My" Car just sitting there . . . However, I couldn't take all those Groceries away . . . All because in the end nothing was purchased at all . . .Since - I HAD NO WAY OF PAYING THE BILL . . .

NOT ONLY - Did I not have "My" Wallet (where I keep all "My" Cards) . . . I HAD NO CASH either, which I keep in "MY" Pocket (Not in a wallet - Remember I lived in NYC, so I know better then to keep cash in a wallet . . . ;)) . . . :

AND - To Top It All Off - I was over 15 Minutes away from where I live . . .

NOT NICE ! ! !

Just Sayin' . . . ;)

5. Well that really stinks Uncle! I'm hoping you were able to run home to grab money or something. I guessed car keys because I've managed to put them down on shelves while I was putting items in the cart and forgot them there

(I decided to wait to bring all the coupons back another day . . .;))

3: A "cold" front came through, I am so thankful. It has helped me to get some good sleep.

I gotta "like" any post about someone getting more sleep! Good for you, tigg!

It must be contagious, Uncle. I, too, had one of those "I can't believe I did that" things happen to me today.

After running around doing some shopping, and getting my groceries packed up in "cooler" bags, I stopped by Walgreens to pick up a new padlock for the gym. It's been so long since I've been to the gym, I can't remember the combination on my old lock! So I paid for the lock, and walked out to my car realizing that I didn't have my keys. I went back to the one place in the store that I stopped (right by the locks)--no keys. Then I asked the cashier, in my really poor Spanish, if I had left them at the register. . . no keys. It was starting to get dark, so I was grateful to have a decent flashlight on my phone that I could shine through the window. . . I still couldn't see the keys. I repeated all of this three times before calling a tow-truck. He showed up after about 30 minutes, quickly opened my car. . . NO KEYS!

As it turned out, someone had, in fact, turned in my keys to the manager. . . but no one could bother to ask even though I kept going back to ask if that had happened!

Not my shining moment. . .

2. Thanks DocTonyNYC I went back and fixed it after reading the rules. You are super helpful!

Your are very welcome! I try to help when/where I can.

Well, friends, I'm done for the night. So much for trying to get to be earlier--it's 1:00 a.m. here already. . . how typical of me!

1. Well Doc, that was not very nice of those walgreens employees, I would of given them a piece of my mind, and made them pay the tow truck driver!

glad you got the keys back in the end
