Lots of things I want to do today. . . errands, a little house cleaning, go to the gym. Last night I pulled an Uncle and filled my shopping cart at Walmart (where I really dislike shopping, but sometimes there's no where else to buy certain things on this island!), got up to the cashier and then realized I didn't have my wallet! I had my gym shorts on because I was planning to workout after shopping, and I left my wallet in my regular shorts at home. So, it's back to Walmart (on a Saturday. . . that's even worse!) to start again. . .

I guess, too, at some point I should start thinking about doing my taxes! I think I'm denial!

Bummer Doc....Thankfully I have never pulled an Uncle.......but especially at Wallyworld.....and to have to go back on Saturday...that is like suicide....all of those screaming brats....."I want this"..."buy me that"....You have my sympathies.....That is one place I will never go to on a weekend....

Tig...that is very wonderful of you....I think we all think alike & just want to be here....."Our home".......

Thanks, Blue. At the risk of stereotyping, Puerto Ricans love to shop--this is remarkably consumerist culture. In particular, most people here like really good bargains. . . this makes Walmart almost unbearable. And, yes, weekends are the worst. If I could find what I needed anywhere else, I wouldn't step foot in the store.
