My dear Ms.P.....at least that's something....I hope you are not getting sick.......I didn't do anything yesterday...I even blew off going to the store...big mistake waiting till today....I know better then to go out on a Saturday......but I needed lettuce.........So now that I am back....I can take the rest of the day off.......

lilblue, I think I should have watered myself while I was at it. A bit stressed is all. Not taking care of "me."

Mom ordered live plants for me again without telling me... she knows how I am about gardening and such... i don't. I guess it is Knockout Roses and Lilacs... just plunk them in the ground and they require no real care. I can live with that. Now I just have to figure out how to kill off that yucca plant that I inherited with the house. Two yrs of digging and the thing is growing better now than before I tried to off it. Scorched earth plan is soon to go into effect on that monster.

Doc, for this house it's more like a way to get the most for our money. Watching pennies so we get whole chickens cheap and make use out of as much of it as possible. I honestly am not to crazy about chicken but I make do

I totally understand. I'm pretty frugal myself. In fact, I would have been furious if I hadn't been able to make use of the chicken after I was disappointed in how it turned out. Since I was able to get a bunch of stock from it. . . I'm happy. My point was just that tastes differ. I'm really glad that you like the chickens done this way--no judgment from me.

Tonight's experiment in the pressure cooker is pork ribs. . . I'll probably finish them in the oven. LOL. . . at least I'm making use of the PC--I've bought way too many kitchen things that I use once and then they gather dust (I keep tripping over my Belgian Waffle maker, for example!). That literally makes me so mad at myself. . .
