And unfortunately the sun will be up earlier & earlier...for the next 3 months.......That is why I don't like summer.....I like the dark & cooler time of year............

2: You and I think alike, I much prefer fall and winter. Spring is okay, but here spring really is about four weeks and straight into the unbearable heat.

2 As I approach "that" age, I hate the heat and humidity more and more. Give me fall, give me spring... I don't even mind winter. But unless I'm in or on water, I make my own! bleh

Still doing homework. :( Everyone has been to church and brunch and hunting eggs. //sigh Woe is moi.

I like the daylight. Deal with SAD and the dark time is sometimes pretty rough on me. I don't care much for the heat but generally cooler here than most places. We chose this area because even for the state the temps run 5-8 degrees cooler because we are in the mountains. I thrived in the summers when I lived in Alaska but the winters were brutal on me because of the darkness. I lived in Southeast and the climate was similar to Seattle but the darkness was something I couldn't handle.

I don't think it has been to 100 since I have lived here. just a little over 2 yrs now. I would stay inside but do anyway if it gets above about 85. Had a leaky tank today. Took awhile and made a mess until I figured out what was happening. It was leaking at the top band and my hand kept getting icky. I don't see any cracks or anything but guess that one is going away. Hope the day was good for everyone.

GMO...way to go! That is great news and brought a smile to a lot of people. Just keep it up and you will be home in no time.

Count me in as one of those who prefers fall and winter to the summer. I've never liked the extreme heat of the summer. I've always kind of had the philosophy that when it's cold, I can put on more clothes. You can only undress so far when it's hot.

And summer in Puerto Rico is brutal. We also spend several straight months watching for potential hurricanes/tropical storms forming just off the coast of Africa. I've now been through two tropical storms and one hurricane. Honestly, the storm itself isn't the worst part--it's the aftermath. Last time we were hit, my electricity and water were both out for a week.

I hope everyone had a nice Sunday.

Okay, it's a little silly, but it made me chuckle. . .
