Hey all, what a really mellow day today. The missus was off all day, (What a blessing). Was able to get my stuff done as well as the normal daily chores. She got home about 7ish and was pooped out so I had the evening to myself except for animal duty and cooking a gormet meal. Yes a Gormet meal. Ya had to be in your 60 or higher to know what that might be and have a southern grandmother too boot... The missus was so pooped she eat all of it without comment on the glutins and starches and all around bad for you but of so good food I made.... if fact she had seconds!!!!!! The dogs and cats got lickies afterwards and everyone are happy campers.... Stikll got to go to the darn Dr but figure I will tell her it's all that good suppose to be non starch, glutin free, no taste, weird named non food, the missus has been making herself and me eat. Yea, that's it. Lack of real food and the brain shut down. I do need me real food..... Cool sight of the evening was the missus in her comfy chair with the "I am never quiet or not getting into something" kitten asleep together, The kitten just wrapped around her waist. Went out and checked out the fireflies, which to me are so awesome to watch. I found out that they are attracted to my EGO lighting up as I take a vape. Everyone around here think I am kind of crazy, which I am, because each late may/early june, I spend hours watching the fireflies all around the rear forest and when ever they venture closer to the house. Ya see the only fireflies I had growing up were those fake ones at Disneyland, so the first year I was here and I wandering into a massive bunch of fireflies, that's it. I love them and get the most surreal feelings and emotions when I am around them. Very child like and innocent. All the bad in the world just disappears. weird I know but that is just me. For everything I have been through, survived and done, I find it is the smallest things that get to me when nothing else seems to..

Ok, enough of my rambling.

I just stopped in to say good night Treefam.....I didn't get as much done as I hoped...I actually messed things up.....I ruined a switch and now I have to order another one....Oh well....

Yawn... good morning, Tree Fam! Another start to another week....
...and I understand the entrancement with fireflies, Tick. Like you, the only ones I'd ever seen were in the Pirates of the Caribbean ride until I visited a friend in Kentucky in the early summer. He couldn't understand why I kept staring into the dark.
