I'll go for the cookies and later-in-the-day stuff that comes in bottles.... coffee is just not my cup of tea (sorry, couldn't resist!). With that, I'm off to vote.

Yes you do. so many don't anymore. I retired to save a younger persons job.
it was time but the company said layoffs unless some of us old farts retired.
Plus this was and is a younger persons job. Climbing phone poles, running wires across canyons etc, It does break a body down...
Still too many got laid off. Sucks I know.
Welcome to the NEW AMERICA.

back from the Dr, report later, have too much to do to catch up due to wasted time time away from chores and animals.

I finally made it back from taking mom for bloodwork, plant shopping, grocery shopping at walmart. Should have taken something to drink with me and should have eaten before I left. Have to take her back Thurs for an echo cardiogram. I am hoping they can figure out what is wrong this time. Food... I need food.

Tick... glad you went to the Doc... glad you're gonna be suckin air for a bit longer too :) Hubby is mid 50s and does tower climbing. He actually gets up there quicker than most of the youngsters. I keep telling him to wait til he is my age and he always says that no matter what he does. he won't ever catch up LOL

Good morn TreeFams!

I wrote a text message to the owner to confirm for tomorrow. havent heard back yet. maybe hes sore...
but still wants to sell i assume. i have most everything together to proceed.

@ "LD" - CONGRATULATIONS on the Event being such a wonderful event . . .

Now - That was very smart of "You" to stand "Your" ground with this person . . . BTW: I really don't like reading about how the "Owner" was being so pushy and wanting the money so adamantly . . . SO - DO "Yourself" a favor (that is if "You" haven't already) and before handing any money over to him directly and/or signing any documents . . . MAKE SURE THIS PERSON OWNS THE BUSINESS . . . "You" are renting the space - right ? ? ? . . . AND - If "You" are - Who holds the lease ? ? ? If it is going to be him - OH BOY ! ! ! Just sayin' . . . ;)
The landlord is separate. shes an 81 year old lil asian lady. They are close however.
The pushiness i didnt care for. its a major decision and should be rushed.
on the other hand, if this is the easiest and least expensive way to take over a turn key business, i can deal with the inconveniences.
not many small businesses can be up in running in a few short weeks after purchase.

Just a suggestion - Do some more research and double check . . . I really think "liblue" is correct on this . . . Particularly if "You" are going to be the "Owner" of this new venture . . . Or are "You" just going to be the "Manager" [. . . Because - Once it is down on a legal paper/document - "You" are usually bound to what it says and an "Owner" is quite different from "Manager" . . . Just Sayin' . . . ;)

Alright - NITE ALL . . .

I think the reason it is signed manager or manager/member is due to the LLC designation. as the owner of said LLC, the licensing has the owners of LLC named as Managers. I too thought it was strange. i though i could choose a designation like ceo or president. but there is no board, no share holders. Owner operator on licensing shows as manager. if i had a partner they would be manager/member or member. Also read that in order to sign as a DBA i have to file a form with the state.

1: Yes I checked my email, did you check yours.
I have a bag of mixed veggies that I am cooking a serving of each night right now.
With no vehicle it makes things tough, but do plan to get some smaller bags of frozen veggies.
The meals in the freezer are to feed four or five, so they are sitting there. I want to take them over to her and the kids but got a real bad response the only time I tried. tumbleweed.gif

I know just how you feel! Glad you're in a better mood today though...me too...my day was just total crap yesterday. Who woulda thought coming back to work would be a relaxing day for me!

I definitely like two of your substances...still on the first one...

Maybe I'll have some of the second one when I get home tonight...after my week so far I think I deserve it!

Now for my next tree...something gnarly!

4) Oh I like gnarly almost as much as I love visitors that drink margaritas with me while waiting on the food to be delivered.

What don't you get Tigger?

4: Why my wife made it so hard to pay the bills, going by car, or doing it in person. Making me think it was such a hard chore. I made the check and gave it to her, she paid the bills. With her gone I do both and it is simple. I just don't get it.

I am kinda venting at the moment because I have found out some sneaky things, think bank account I had no idea about before this. tumbleweed.gif
