Could you guess it's still the loneliest number.

Had some old friends over for lunch. No cold cuts here! Brined chicken thighs, ta-tas and legs, finished glazed with my BBQ sauce.
It worked!!!

Guess Dave doesn't read... we have been through this one before

Spaghetti sauce turned out really good this time. It is always edible but at times moreso than others. It should be good though because it really made a mess all over the stove.

Tomorrow I am making a chicken pie. The veggies are served on the side and not inside. Schmaltz is good for the skin. I will have good skin tomorrow. Will make 3 or 4, cook one and freeze the others.

Doc said the insurance co wants to wait 6 weeks for a MRI but he said after he sends the report from todays visit maybe they will approving it. If I'm not back to work by the 21st I lose my job. I just love my insurance co. Not!

Just got back from our neighbors independence day celebration that the little 9 yr old girl (my daughters friend) planned all by themselves. It was adorable! They had planned out everything even had a microphone and sang a few songs including star spangled banner and other us songs. Her fireworks were little sparklers/bottle rockets. Anyway it was absolutely adorable! What a great night!
