Ah, found the treefam again. It sort of got lost in the shuffle. Been one of those weeks. Looks like we are in for a weather change this weekend. It's going to cool off and stay that way it appears. Fall has fallen.

Made it in ok last night. Didn't go quite as smooth as I had hoped but nothing major. 1st flight took off 2 hours late and had a different flight for the long leg - didn't get my business upgrade cause of that but made the last flight and got in on schedule.
It's a bit chilly here.
Seen the phoon updates and it's going right over. Haven't heard from the Fam there yet but hopefully they check their email soon.
Don't know how much I'll be here with all the visiting and stuff I'll be doing.

Had some minor leakage in some of the tanks - don't know if it was pressure related or jus from how they were sitting. Wasn't much and no real mess - they were wrapped in tissue and each in it's own little ziploc - the tissue absorbed what little did leak.

Good morning, Treefam. The shift to the new end time is throwing me off and raising some questions like: Can I get numbered posts in this thread (the one to close) before closing time? When the new thread starts, do I start my numbering over or continue where I left off? How will it be checked/enforced?

Thank everyone for their comforting thoughts and prayers... MIL passed peacefully this morning about 4:30. No sympathy needed, this was a good thing. So many battle cancer and linger in pain for a long time. We visited her a few days ago and she was fine, in no pain, laughing and acting like she always did. I think she was 91.

KC1BLE.... are you a ham?

Not sure we will make it to 800 before the end... guess we can try

Still raining here. Flooding everywhere. People losing homes, life. It's currently crazy here in Oklahoma. I hate the rain

Sorry to hear about the flooding in OK. It is still raining here off and on and is really foggy. I still won't complain about the rain. I still haven't adapted completely to having water again yet. So many things get taken for granted.

It's going to be a busy weekend. My wife is volunteering at an Art & Wine festival whose proceeds go to funding our schools, so I'll have to herd the kids for two days.
Joan, please let us know if we can do anything for you. Typically, when someone you know loses someone (or has a child), you bring food. But with the way the USPS has been going lately, I'm not sure you'd enjoy the condition in which it reaches you...

Yep... only 5 numbered... that doesn't mean you still can't chat... you just don't number them or add the tree.

@ "mac" - Glad to read Ya' made it stateside safe and sound, hope "You" and your family have a lot of FUN . . . Hope all "You" know back on the island is just as safe & sound and will be alright too . . . Now - As for the "E-Liquid" leakage - no way to avoid if it is packed away in checked luggage that I know of - really good thing that Ya' didn't lose much . . . BTW: As I mentioned in "My" Blog about traveling - I never had leakage when I take "My" Stuff in carry-on bags . . Just Sayin' . . .

To be honest . . . First, "We" have always been kind of self regulating and follow the as requested by "GMO" and the "Tree-Peeps" (such as yourself, "jpf", and "angel" to name a couple) that always step up to the plate to help remind people when they don't follow the or post something inappropriate (which makes "My" job as a contest helper pretty easy here) . . . The other thing is that if someone was chosen as a WINNER that shouldn't have been, either because their post was not numbered or just Chit Chat they usually bring it up to "GMO" and another Winner was Chosen . . .

AND - Then if needed there is the contest helper - "Uncle" . . .

NOW - IMO - The contest entries should continue as before . . . ALL Contest Entries should start when the new thread is opened, more importantly - each contest entry should be dated and numbered . . .

But "We" will have to wait until "GMO" to find out more . . . Just Sayin' . . .
