Seems there are no good movies on the boob tube either! So here I share another beautiful picture of Garden of the Gods here in Colorado Springs. Thank you Mother Nature, you created something that sticks out of the middle of nowhere that has beauty THIS awe inspiring!

1- I've stood in that exact spot many times. I'm so jelly. 800 miles away from the most breathtaking place I've ever been5

It is getting to be that cold time of the tear. Had the first cold front here in the swamps. Below 70 this morning. If it gets any colder, I'll have to break out the fur lined flip flops.

Good morning TreeFam...some lovely pics... thanks everyone. The Forest Festival should be wrapping up today and my little podunk of a town can get back to its normal self. I have a lot of running to do for my parents tomorrow. Will stick a load of laundry down there before I start the errands and should be more than done by the time I get back to their place and I can tote them up the hill and dry them.
Pulp prices are up and firewood is scarce. Called the guy that we get ours from and he said would be a month before he could deliver. May have to supplement with coal this winter.

Well I got another nite's sleep, we'll sorta, I really don't like taking meds to have to sleep, now my coffee isn't strong enough. I feel like I went out drinking.

Good morning tree folks. I got lost yesterday researching Reos and building coils...not that I'll have one or be doing that any time soon, but I got fascinated and kept going and going and...
@renilyn don't know if I mentioned, but I lived in Denver for ten years, and I agree. Colorado is one of the most beautiful places mother nature came up with.

2. Still trying to wake up, I'm freezing. The windows in this house aren't insulated or sealed very well so it's just as cold inside as it is outside. Hubby is going to get some plastic to put over them today. I'm ready to crawl back into the bed and snuggle into the blankets.
I've been enjoying the cool mornings! Been going to let the dog out.
My only problem with the cool mornings is that shortly they are going to be cold mornings and that doesn't suit my old bones well! I guess my glass is half empty.. gotta work on that!

Dropped into the 40s here last night. It was awesome! Slept with the windows open, snuggled under my down comforter with my cat.
I may have mentioned somewhere that I love winter... [emoji75]
