Thoughts, prayers, and good vibes going out to GMO, blue and angel.

My wife went in about a month early for labor with Pat Jr and Gwen and everything went well for both of them, although they both were a week or so early.

Patrick Jr is the only one with any issues, and that's more of a delay in speaking, and he's on the small side (5-10 percentile for height and weight), but that seems to be a genetic issue. Ironically, he was the closest to being born on his due date. Don't know what to make of that, other then that my family's a little odd, but that's probably why they let me stay[emoji23]

3. Thank you guys for the thoughts, vibes and prayers! They are going to keep her for a couple of days...apparently she is seriously dehydrated and has a bad UTI and that is what they suspect caused the early contractions...so they want to keep an eye on her and the baby for a little while....hopefully once they get that all cleared up everything will be okay.

Brave #1 performed well with his one line and bow. He did get a little distracted by the song at the end, but all the kids were anxious to get back to the classroom for cookies, popcorn, and cider.

Angel, best wishes for you DIL. My daughter was about 3 weeks early... and my son, well, my wife had a rupture at 28 weeks and was put on bed rest in the hospital (including during Halloween and Thanksgiving). She went into labor the day before the doctors were planning to induce--6 weeks early--but now he's the biggest boy in his class.

So I've been super busy the last few days. I somehow didn't post in here at all the past 2 days.
Had car issues today freaking flat on my pos civic and dead battery on my yukon. And that was all 45 mins before I had to pick my aunt up from the airport. Had to get the tire fixed first, stupid valve stem was leaking. Then picked her up and came home to a house full of crazy animals. My family and I will need lots of prayers tomorrow, it is my grandmothers birthday and she just passed away very quickly in August. It's going to be a very hard week around here.
Angel- I'm glad everything seems to be looking up for your DIL. We will be sending prayers your way.

4. Thanks again all for your positive thoughts...means so much to me! That's why I love our little Treefam here!...Count, glad to hear that Brave #1 did well...don't blame him for getting distracted though...I would've been too with cookies and popcorn waiting to be had! Also glad to hear that everything turned out so well with both your kids...makes me feel better knowing they are just fine and thriving now! :D

MrsT - Sorry to hear about the car problems...had my own yesterday, so I can sympathize...good thoughts and prayers for you and your family now...make tomorrow a special day to remember all the good things about your grandmother and to celebrate her.

Thanks tigg. I am a young one :) and I know that things go on and I'm the most ok with this out of everyone in the family. I was also the closest to her. The hardest part is knowing we are the ones that pulled her off of life support so it has been hardest in that way. But it was the only option. So it hasn't been easy. It involved a lot of people moving and just a lot of changes. I know that tomorrow is going to have a lot of tears and a lot of laughter. She was one heck of a woman!

3. MrsTrout, I'm sorry for your loss ((HUGS)) You and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers. I was super close with my grandmother (she was like my mom, instead of grandmother) she passed away when I was 16, a long time ago. I still miss her, but now I just try and remember all the happy times we had and how awesome she was.

Count, I happy your son enjoyed his play. I would have been distracted by cookies and goodies too.

Angel, sending love and prayers your way :)

I hope you understand that I was not being mean or thoughtless...... I have been sort of there with my mom, she had cancer four times and decided to "let go" on the last time. We knew she was going, like you taking her off the life support. We, I and my sisters, knew it was coming, but when the day came it was so hard.... Like a kick in the gut by a donkey, the world should stop.... the emotions are hard, how do we continue? In time we find that we go on, the world continues, and in time the hurt gets less and less, we do not forget; but we remember the good times we had together. Words are so cheap and I am sorry I can not offer you more comfort than words.

My father named me in his Advance Directive and had made it very clear that if his heart surgery should encounter complications that he wanted to be let go. I had to battle the hospital for three days when they put him on a respirator and dialysis before they finally took him off. When the doctors asked him if he agreed with my decision and truly wished for treatment to stop, he replied "Hell yes, that's why I made an Advance Directive!" He lasted for two more days... It was very hard to let go.
