I'll probably pay for it tonite and tomorrow. Did 14 last week and it hurt the next day, Didn't do any all week til yesterday and that was only 5.5 cause of the wind and feeling crappy. Went out today wanting at least 10 hoping for 12 but just kept going.

Oh I know all about the slow n steady increase stuff - 20 years in the Corps taught me a couple things about workouts (and the pain that can go with them).
The 15 km was the distance I was doing before my vacation but the speed is way down now. I need to be out there at least 3 or 4 times a week to keep what I've gained and get better. Taking just a week off cause a big step backward.

I am very jealous! Wish there was a way to express ship some this way - along with a large jamocha shake.

A few years ago I got take out at one and asked the girl for some extra packets of Arby and Horsey sauce. She looked at me funny and I explained that I'm overseas and don't get it very often. She tossed in 2 BIG handfuls of each. Brought it back and put it on my sammiches til it ran out.

Hey mac, I can't get you the sandwiches (don't think they'd travel too well!) but the horsey and Arby sauce I happen to have bottles of the stuff....if you want some PM me. I'd be happy to get some to you! I use the horsey sauce pretty much on a daily basis on all kinds of things! Love that stuff!

Thanks for the offer but I'm probably better off not having any here. The sauces are great on lots of stuff but it's just not quite the same as dripping from one of the large roast beefs. Plus it just makes it all taste so much better when I do get back there. I was back for 10 day on the trip last month and made it to 2 different ones for a total of 3 visits - got a good fix that should last awhile.

Have coffee, need to wake-up. I went to get a carrot out of the roast and it's gone, kids ate it all last nite, didn't even leave a little nibble for my breakfast. Guess I'll make a couple eggs.
