See, jpf, things are looking up for you, weather-wise! We, on the other hand, are looking at a cool spell for a few days with the highs dipping into the 60's and a 10% chance of rain on Friday. (Running and hiding now!)

3. Jpf - I had that same thought...he's rubbing off on me! I am truly one of the clumsiest people in the world and did it when I was trying to open my bedroom door last night...I missed and jammed my finger down hard on it...my bf tells me I can't walk and chew gum at the same time and he's not far from the truth!
Robin - no, finger is in addition to not feeling well...have had an upset stomach off and on since yesterday afternoon, so don't want to eat much of anything and don't even want to vape at times...well, no I want to vape, just don't feel good enough to do so!

No need to hide Count, I'm used to this N.E. Ohio weather, I may complain about it but I've lived here my whole life. They say if you don't like the weather here, wait 10 minutes and it'll change.

Jpf I noticed the same thing here, the creek next to my house that runs into the Monongahela river is iced over, which doesn't typically happen until the end of December, beginning of January. On the bright side, we're up to 25° now.
Angel I hope you feel better, stomach issues are the pits.

My wife was not picked for the jury they called her in for so she gets to call again tonight to see if she is needed on Friday. And so it continues.

I found out that I'm getting vapemail Friday. I'm not sure what it is, but I like surprises so I can't wait. It's been a while since I got vapemail, all the way back last week sometime.

So two nights ago, she learned that she needed to appear yesterday. While she was called for a case, she was not selected for the jury and released for the rest of the day. But, because she didn't actually serve on a jury, she is still on-call for the rest of the month.
Typically, you receive a letter stating a date you should appear, but that is for the regular courts. My wife's summons is for Federal court and she is on-call for the entire month of November and is required to call in (always after 6 pm) every couple of days to find out if she needs to go in for the next day. She is only relieved of the month-long situation if she is actually selected for a jury.
So two nights ago, she learned that she needed to appear yesterday. While she was called for a case, she was not selected for the jury and released for the rest of the day. But, because she didn't actually serve on a jury, she is still on-call for the rest of the month.

Well I am up with some of my other posts....but I have to read here still.....BTW I got a refund on that MIA package....it really wasn't the money that I wanted....so now I have to reorder the cable.....USPS "did what they could"(lol) to find it.......
