Nope they don't have it like we do - tomorrow is a regular day for them (except for the ones that work on base - most of them will have the day off)
On Monday they had a holiday that's called 'Labor Thanksgiving Day'. Don't know what its all about but it's not a big deal like some other holidays.

Labor Thanksgiving Day. Interesting...

Just FYI,
Labor Thanksgiving Day (勤労感謝の日 Kinrō Kansha no Hi?) is a national holiday in Japan which takes place annually on November 23. The law establishing the holiday cites it as an occasion for commemorating labor and production and giving one another thanks.

Events are held throughout Japan, one such being the Nagano Labor Festival. The event encourages thinking about the environment, peace and human rights.

Evening everyone, hope you all are having a good night.

Looks like we're in for snow overnight, possibly an inch or two. I have an early shift and frequently, they don't treat the roads around here til after sunrise or later, so it could be dicey. I'm kinda wishing I had gotten tires on the Jeep last payday instead of the washing machine, four wheel drive doesn't help you stop. On the bright side, if it's bad enough, I can call off without picking up an occurrence (as an aside, I never understood why companies can write you up, and even fire you, for medical and safety reasons even when documented). Bottom line is, I'm not risking my safety so I can go to a >$14 an hour job.

My Mom sent us a Crock Pot slow cooker as a early Christmas present, but it was one without a timer, she sent it directly to our house from Targets Web site so I was looking on the Web site and they had one that was only $4 more with a timer and they had it in stock at the closest Target to me. I called Mom and she said return and get the one with the timer, so I called the store and the guy I talked to said they did indeed have it. My son and I drove there and the one he had put at the customer service desk wasn't even close to the one online which they didn't have in stock. The young lady gave me the next better model for the sale price of the one online! So now we have a slow cooker with a timer!

2. Wow, what a super busy day today...that's what happens when you have to fit a weeks work into just two days, or rather one since the boss didn't even come in until almost 4 yesterday...oh well, the day flew by and now I'm off for the rest of the week, so woohoo!...and to celebrate I came home and promptly fell asleep in my chair!

Hey Count, here's your palm tree you were too lazy to look for before! :D

Bella, you do realize that you are supposed to put on your gory costume before Halloween, right?

Ha, you should have saw what it looked like washing it out in the shower. It was like the worse horror movie scene ever! I called my daughter into the bathroom and she pulled back the shower curtain and about went into shock at first. It looked like the scene in the movie Carrie when they pour the pigs blood on her. My daughter was like, "too bad you don't have a bathing suit on. This would make an awesome picture".

It turned out a hot pinkish - dark reddish looking color. I put some more on it and it's processing now. I didn't bleach it first, so it's just the color dye on there. I didn't want to damage my hair. It didn't take that well the first time since I didn't bleach it first, hoping to even it out and brighten it up some. I'll probably be dying it some shade of dark brown tomorrow if I don't like it.

I showed a picture to a friend online and they liked it. I'm not so sure about it..lol.

4. Bella, it sounds cool to me...you're gonna have to PM me a pic when it's done...I wanna see it! :D...I tell you what I do when I want different colors in my hair...I use those colored hair chalks...that way I can put in any color I want and wash it out the next day...and since my hair is blonde, it's really easy...I haven't done that in a while...think I need to go dig them out again and play around some!
