Count - I lived in La La Land for 6 years. You talking about the 405?

Sort of... I-5 -- the only way to get to San Diego along the coast. For those of you who don't know I-5 splits into an alternate route through the L.A. area: 405. It is notorious for traffic. Take all of that traffic, merge it with I-5 proper (which runs through the central L.A. area) and all of that traffic then has to funnel its way for 50 or so miles before reaching San Diego County. There are a few towns along the way, but a large section of that runs through a Marine base, so there are very few ways off until you hit San Diego.... and, even, then you're still a good 40 miles from the central part of the city.

Happy Thanksgiving, Tiggs!

Happy Thanksgiving Mac and Tiggs!

Tomorrow should be fun, we have to make the sweet rolls, mashed potatoes, and sweet potatoes. My sister in law is making some other stuff and my parents (OK just my mom :D ) will be making the main course. It's quite handy that we all live on the same street.

An interesting story about the sweet rolls (to me at least). My great grandmother developed the recipe for them back in the teens and during the Depression, Woolworths wanted to purchase the recipe for something like $1000 and she refused. The recipe has since been passed down to the daughters (or daughters in law), and has never left the family.

On a completely unrelated tangent, my video card on my main computer seems to have fried, so on payday I'll be ordering up a new card and power supply. So I'll be out of a computer til probably Monday, thank god for smart phones and tablets!

Looking back at this, jeez I'm wordy today, I haven't even started drinking [emoji2]

4. I didn't get in bed until after 5am, about 4 hours of sleep. Been super busy today.

Angel, Congrat's on your 1 Year vaperversary!!! I just realized a little while ago that today is my 5 month vaperversary. We should party together..lol

I finally got my package today that my friend sent. I got a beautiful rainbow Vamo. She sooo pretty, I'm in love. Now I have to find a rainbow tank to go with her and my rainbow drip tips.

Have a safe trip Uncle, Tiggs enjoy the time with your family and Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving treefam. I'm thankful to have all of you in my life!

5. Thanks Robin.

I got the house cleaned and some grocery shopping done. Picked up a few things to go in the grandkids stockings.

My oldest grandson will be 3 in a few days, but he's gone up north to visit his grandparents up there. I wont get to see him for a week or 2 but it works out good because what he wants I can't find anywhere. Amazon is sold out and I went to 3 Walmarts and they didn't have it either. I'm having a hard time shopping because everything anyone wants I can't find. I'm usually done Christmas shopping and I usually have everything wrapped waiting to go under the tree tomorrow night. I'm just starting this year and it sucks.

Oh right, duh! Don't know how I could forget about the 5. A good friend of mine lives in San Diego. I'd drive down to see her quite a bit. We'd cross the border and go to Puerto Nuevo frequently!

Mmm... good lobster. It's actually been a very long time since I've been down there. Actually, the last time I was even across the border was... 15 years ago? I guess I must have given up the desire to go down there once it was legal for me to drink here.
