Woke up early this morning
After being real quiet all day yesterday the forum sure got active last nite - still trying to get caught up.
I ordered a istick from the place in NY - best deal I've seen on them (except for that place that it seems that they may not have actually had them) was gonna get 2 but they had a limit of 1

Well my faith in humanity has been restored. I was at McDonald's getting my lunch, and they said the car ahead of me had paid for my food. Of course, I couldn't let that stand, so I paid for the Escalade behind me. And so it went down the line, probably one of the coolest acts of humanity I've personally bore witness to. Got to love seeing the philosophy of PIF in action.

Now, I just got to get through the next four hours at work.

It's just as well I didn't shop for Black Friday deals. I would have been tempted to buy something that I only think I want rather than something that I am sure I wanted.

Well, I've been shopping most of the day. The stores were packed, but not too bad. Got my hubbys and the grandkids Christmas bought.

My daughter is on the naughty list after she acted so ugly to me this afternoon. I asked her to postpone going to her friends house so we could get her Christmas shopping done and she refused. I told her that I was in a shopping mood so if she wanted anything for Christmas she better come with me and pick out what she wanted and she still refused. So I dropped her off at her friends house and told her to have fun. I'm not spending another dime on her. She's got a few things coming that I ordered online, but I took the money I was going to spend on her and bought the grandkids lots of stuff. She's 16 and has got an attitude that would have got me put in the hospital if I'd acted like her towards my parents. I know it's her age, but I'm not putting up with it, she made her choice so she'll live with it. She's normally a sweet kid, but since she turned 16 she's been nothing but a brat. The brat can get a job and buy her own stuff from now on.

Dang, that was a rant, sorry.

We were shopping most of the day, as well. Probably the biggest crowd we encountered was at Sears because the door-buster deals were ending just as we finished finding clothes for the kids.

Stinks about your daughter, Bella. We had friends join us for dinner last night and one of the girls gets away with so much because her mom always backs down. She was reasonably well behaved yesterday, but I fear what she will be like in 7 years when she reaches your daughter's age. Unfortunately, she's good friends with both of my kids, so I see much straying from our "strict" rules in the future...

A lot of the attitude comes from them seeing and hearing what other kids get away with (some actual and some made up) so they figure they can do it as well. Went thru it with my kids - they learned fairly quick that it don't work that way. They would still try to pull something every so often then end up paying the consequences.

Yeah, brats don't get away with nothing here. She knows as long as she acts right, she pretty much gets to do what she wants and gets what she wants. She also knows that if you don't act right, Momma will cut you off. She made her choice today and she'll have to live with it. Her daddy is furious with her. He called and I told him what happened (her attitude was a lot nastier than I posted here) and he says he's going to go pick her up in the morning and is putting a stop to her going off for a while. She's lucky he has to work late tonight.

All the stuff I've been through with my son over the years, he's never once been disrespectful to me. He's 25 and has never acted like she did today.

Bella - Sorry, that you had to pull the "tough love" card with your daughter, but ya did the right thing! Hopefully she will have learned her lesson.

Count - Good Night!

Whew, I just remembered that I'd been hoping to upgrade my phone to a Samsung Galaxy 5 this weekend for FREE. Got it!

lots of internet window shopping today. Vape Mail proved that I already had everything I needed and wanted so I did not pull the trigger on anything.
Almost did on a Lemo from China, but I can find it just as cheap the first of December when it comes back in stock here in the states and will have it by the 3rd in stead of the 13th.

congrats on the free upgrade
I'm still using my flip from almost 9 years ago

made another BF sale purchase - no shinies this time. They have a little accessory (only place I've found it) that I've been wanting to get more of for quite awhile but didn't want to make an order for just those. The got 20% off so I got them along with some other supplies.
