Sorry to hear that, jpf. I think about the age gap from time to time. I worked in a book store a few years out of college and there was a man who worked there who was in his mid-40's. I know that the manager and a couple of other salespeople would occasionally snicker about him... but they also snickered about me since I didn't always cozy up to the crowd and just tried to do what needed to be done. I guess that's why I ended up working nights so often.I don't think the interview went real well, we'll see if I get a call back or a rejection email. Everyone working in the store looked like they were just out of high school or in their early 20's. I don't think I fit their demographic.
