BTW: "Count" - Even when everything gets straightened out with the dryer/electric . . . Sear's still NEEDS to compensate Ya' for the inempt delivery guys abilities & the aggervation (?sp) that they cause "You" & Wifey . . . Just Sayin' . . . ;)
We're planning on it.
I don't think the interview went real well, we'll see if I get a call back or a rejection email. Everyone working in the store looked like they were just out of high school or in their early 20's. I don't think I fit their demographic.
Sorry to hear that, jpf. I think about the age gap from time to time. I worked in a book store a few years out of college and there was a man who worked there who was in his mid-40's. I know that the manager and a couple of other salespeople would occasionally snicker about him... but they also snickered about me since I didn't always cozy up to the crowd and just tried to do what needed to be done. I guess that's why I ended up working nights so often. Come to think of it, Bryan (I think that was his name) did too.... Hmm.

5. Jpf sorry to hear the interview didn't seem to go well, but that just means it wasn't meant to be...and that the job you are about to start is the one for you!

Speaking of jobs, I just got a call from my oldest son telling me that my son who still lives at home got fired from his job...he found out from one of their friends...now mind you, my son hasn't mentioned this to me at all, but apparently it happened at the end of last week...I'm going to kick the little twit's .... when I get home on Sunday night if he doesn't come clean with me...and he dang well better be out trying to find another job, and he can't count on his brother giving him a job because he already said he won't hire him with that lazy, don't give a crap attitude he has lately....he's dang lucky I'm not coming home tonight because I'd probably kill him!

Well time for me to head out of here and start my weekend....BF better have a really big drink waiting on me tonight....I need it! :glare:

All I want to know is who or what is he looking at with those "Eyes" . . . ;)

I think that he's looking at the phone with fascination (like most kids!!)

The next generation will be so attached to their phones that they won't be capable of functioning without them.

Cancel that!! We are there already!

@ "RR" - Of course "frequent flyer" here too . . . It seems those days are long gone . . . It has been "My" experience that very few airlines offer free tickets/food/anything for any delays or cancelled flights . . . Most people in coach bearly get a small plastic glass of water/soda/coffee-tea . . . Thankfully - I try to make a "friend" of at least one flight attendant and can get a can of soda/few cups of coffee and if I am real lucky a snack if I bring up being a diabetic . . . Just Sayin' . . .

Right back at Ya' "tigg" - everything is alright, just dealing with limited Internet access and the cold weather for now . . . Tomorrow going into NYC for the weekend . . . :D

How about you "Mr. Juicey" ? ? ?

12/4 - 4: Howdy Ranger!! My new nickname huh? Well let it stick, doing it every day and working out every day. I have a few veins starting to show in places as the lean muscle is building and trimming up. My buckle is about 9 inches overlapping, where it was once only about 2 inches. Getting in shape, like a lean mean machine.... tumbleweed.giftumbleweed.gif

I need to try and get moving so that maybe I can get some shopping done today.
I recall you me mentioning the weight of gifts for shipping. I assume that's to the mainland. If so, there are plenty of US, on-line, merchants that will them ship gifts where you like and even offer gift exchange. Am I missing something?

Good Night Count!

Not really worried about the weight. USPS has flat rate boxes that I use - same cost no matter how heavy. So I just need to make sure things fit in those. Some of the stuff I get is from out in town here so no way of having the supplier ship it to the States.
