I have an extra special day planned...The Winter Solstice begins on the 21st...in the afternoon....so by sundown there will be a lot of candle magic and celebration going on here....not to mention all of the good eats....it is my second favorite time of year.....It's when I can gather up all my energy for all of my good fortune for the coming year....

This day is just dragging by...now I'm not really complaining because it beats the alternative of crazy clients, and an even crazier boss, but the last couple of hours have just gone by sooooooo slow...and I still have a little over an hour left...I guess I could go dig up some work to do, but where's the fun in that!

It has been a good day so far. Fixed the leaf blower, found an MTG rare I was looking for, and laundry is done. Now to research what battery/mod to pick up next.

So I got home from running errands and getting lunch to find that my wife has decided to fix our downstairs toilet... only she couldn't get the last bolt holding the tank off and had practically stripped the head of the screw in trying. Now, I'm not complaining about her enthusiasm, but it's stuff like this which kills my work schedule as now, instead of rounding out some bugs in my code, I'll be playing plumber for the afternoon. The only reason I'm posting now is because she went to pick up the kids from school.

Sounds like something that I'd do trying to fix something myself, Count. I try to leave that kind of stuff for hubby, but he takes forever to get around to doing stuff, so I wind up trying to do it and then mess something up.

I'm home from work, these days are going by pretty fast. Everyone else in the house is either already or getting sick. Some kind of bug must be going around.

12/11 - 2: I have never done anything like that before, have never lost the keys or locked them in the car. Never have left without my wallet before, it sure was a relief to find it.
