A few years ago before I moved they were redoing the house next door and I can not believe how inconsiderate those workers were....7 AM they hauled in metal ladders and tools 12 feet away from the bedroom window(in between the houses) and the yelling down from the roof or the 2nd floor to the street was awful....some nights they were still working at 9 PM...When they did the roof and it took them 6 weeks just for that....I hated going out because I could hear the sexual comments from across the yard....I was so bothered that I hardly went out for the 4 months it took them....a few times they blocked me in with their personal vehicles.....so I had to tell them to move them....I hated that time...
This noise today brought back some of that fear until I realized where I am and that it's alright now..I don't have to go there....PTSD strikes again...........

I need to go to the store and figure out something for supper. First I have to dig out the 30 inches of snow at the end of my driveway that the plows left there from the road. My jeep would make it through it but I don't want to take the chance of it ripping something off the bottom of it like my exhaust, if it was just loose snow I wouldn't bother.

Again I just want to say how much I appreciate The Tree Family. Your kindness is awesome!

4. The treefam is the best, this is my favorite spot on ECF, my home. I've cut my posting way down in other threads, but I have to come here to visit. I love the treefam.

I need a nap, but since hubby gets home earlier than her used to it cuts into my nap time. By the time I'd get good and asleep it would be time to start cooking. Speaking of which, I have to clue what I'm going to cook tonight.

Jpf, I can't imagine having that much snow. I like seeing pictures of it, but couldn't live anywhere than had it like that.

I suppose that blocking off driveways might help keep cars off the streets, too.

At least this didn't happen to you, jpf!

That's too funny! I waited till the plowing was done, I've done it too many times only to have the plow come again.
