View attachment 4052651/19 5 count any way to replace the battery in those. Can they come apart at all???
No, not really. An internal battery means that they are supposed to be mostly left alone. I know that some people have taken them apart--usually to fix the firing pin--but I haven't heard of anyone replacing the battery. Based on my diagnosis of my second MVP, the problem probably lies with the circuit board. The button obviously works (I can turn it on and off and it thinks it can fire), but something is preventing the board from directing power to the firing pin. That this happened to me in the middle of a vape session without a drop or other source of damage to the device also points to something wrong with the circuitry. For $40, though, these MVPs have worked well. My first MVP (the one that is dying) still vapes quite well and has seen almost daily use since early May of 2014. A carton of cigarettes would have cost me more and lasted for about a week and a half...

Your right about the cost count but I like tinkering, and if it comes apart you should be able to soldier a new battery in it.(the one with the week battery) the one with your newest problem I could not answer cause that sounds chip related. My first few VV's were ones that I made. I still have them for back-ups. I will try to post pics sometime.

Do you have a voltmeter?maybe the pin is pushed down so it won't fire.mine used to do that, then it would think there is a problem and shut off

4. Finally made it to the grocery store, I spent too much and got too little for my money. Prices for food is ridiculous, it shouldn't cost so much to eat..lol.

I cooked scrambled cheesy hamburgers tonight. I almost could have ate out for what I paid for hamburger meat, velveeta cheese and the buns. It was good though. :)

Sorry about your MVP Count.

If I had the time, I'd take it apart and do exactly as you suggest... but I have plenty of other things I could (my wife would say "should") be doing with my time. For the expense in time and money (a new, 20 Watt version can be had for $30+), it's not really worth it. I'd already been thinking of getting something new (the last new hardware I purchased was an iStick--and that was with a coupon from a contest win)--this just adds a little more urgency (okay, okay--another excuse :)) to buy something.

If the pin were pushed down, it wouldn't be able to make contact with the coil to read the resistance (which it does). Good thought, though.

Robin if I remember you got a Samsung S5? That's what I have and it does the same thing, as a mater of fact my first post of every day all I have to type is the G and Good Morningnite All! automatically comes up. It gives me the choice of that or G'Nite Uncle! All I have to do is touch the word.
