Well, since I was refilling, decided to replace some coils. I missed a wrap on one of the rebuilt Aerotank heads--it came out to 0.8 ohms. Decided to live with it and have my first sub-ohm experience. All in all, not bad, I'd say--but I probably shouldn't have picked a flavor that has such a big natural throat hit (lemon cake).

3.
Angel, Happy Birthday to Harley! :bday:

I got some of my vapemail today. I got the coils for my subtanks and 2 drip tips I ordered. OMG, they really need to show those drip tips on a tank or something so you can get a clue to how big or little they are. I got one today and it is HUGE, like it makes the tips on the subtank and atlantis look like stubs it's so huge. I got to post a picture of it.

4. Count, it does look ridiculous! It's so wide, I look ridiculous trying to vape with it, fish lips.. that's all I'm saying. It doesn't hit too bad though. Just looks so funny on everything, even the huge subtank! I didn't know it was THAT big when I ordered it.

For those looking at the MVP3.0 I did find a better deal on it, the place many of us got the Istick from has it for $50.39, only in black or silver though. I want pink, and hubby gave me the evil eye when I said I wanted to buy one, then said I had enough stuff, so I'm going to wait. At least until he goes to bed. Na, I'll probably pass up this killer deal, until I find a pink one.

4. Haha Bella. You made me laugh with your story about the B&M...I guess my Reos and all my other mods and tanks probably would have blown his mind...I would have had so much fun with that!...Your new drip tip is, um, well just HUGE! Wow! Bet it gives a good hit though!...And Harley says thank you...well actually he just said "woof", but that's what it translated to! He got a special meal cooked for him by his daddy and even his own cake...Gee I hope I get it that good on my birthday! :p:laugh:

I don't think so jefx....I am sure that since you love animals that counters any superstitions about black cats.....

Good! I hope so. I do love the fuzzy little idiots. :) They are all rescues. 3 black cats, 1 calico, an Akita mix, and a Dachshund. Plus I have an (obviously) abused pit bull that stops by occasionally for some attention and food.

I even went to one of my local stores today. OMG.. best way to get you out of the mood to buy is to go to a real store and see the jacked up prices! They were selling the MVP2 for $80. . I will definitely stick to online shopping.

Ya, that's the truth. I recently got my mom to start vaping after 40+ years of cigs. She went to her local B&M and picked up an Itaste 3.0 and Aerotank Mini for a whopping.................... $105....... Talk about overpriced!!! Since then, I got her an Istick 30 and GS Air for $40 combined (including shipping) online.

2. Robin, PM me the link to the MVP 30 watt please:D I've been itchin' to buy something all day. Can't find a good enough deal for me to pull the trigger.

They were selling the MVP2 for $80. The owner was nice and tried telling me all about his shiny toys he had to offer, I politely started naming off all that I had, and added I had the Istick 50watt on the way. He got real quiet..lol. Then I was browsing the tanks and he started naming the tanks, my daughter says, "momma has all these, except those cheap plastic ones." [emoji14] He's like, "you have the nautilus?" I said, "yep, and the atlantis and subtank too", He says, "You have the Subtank?" I just said I did..lol. I said, "yep, love it so much I have 3 of them"..lol. He said, "you pretty much have everything". I wish I had Angel with me, she would have blown his mind. [emoji38] I did find a J-wrap to buy that wasn't over priced. I will definitely stick to online shopping.

Yep! We went to a B&M on Wednesday because stepdot was low on juice she liked, and mail order wasn't gonna be here in time. Spent more than $80 on 80 ml of juice, 2 teensy tiny coils of kanthal, and a case for stepdot's kit. looked real hard at the iStick 30 (the only reg. box mod they had) and they wanted $60. TWICE what it goes for on the net. But, they do serve a purpose: while we were there, at least 3 people came in because they wanted to quit smoking. They got them started with ego-t batteries and Kanger Evod tanks...

Came home and placed an order online, but I couldn't help but be happy that the little overpriced shop gave those people a start... even if it cost them more, it's better than buying another pack of coffin nails.

I agree. I bought my first rig from a local B&M. I paid more than online, but the info and education I got from the helpful staff was worth the extra few bucks to me. The advantage to a B&M is that you can buy supplies ASAP without waiting for snailmail, and there are actual people there to show newbs how things work and to answer questions and stuff.... You pay the premium for the service, not the items. However, there are just too many of them in my area to stay financialy viable. They are going up everywhere! I have a feeling many of them will be out of business soon.....just due to over-supply.

I can understand a markup in B&Ms - they have a lot of overhead that the internet folks don't have - but some of the prices are way beyond a normal mark up. I suspect that places that have outrageous prices are buy the stuff online from the same sources as us. To have a successful shop you need to have suppliers and buy at wholesale cost.

You're absolutely right! I get the feeling they buy their stuff from the same online sources that we use, then add the markup. However, an online drop ship store is dead simple to set up. They could compete.
