Today was not a good day! I got home excited to receive some vapemail. One package was some 60ml NT juice from the classifieds and the second was an order I've been waiting a while for that contained 2 pkgs of Atlantis coils, a 5ml atlantis replacement tank, 5 pkgs of BVC nautilus coils and a nautilus mini. The 3rd was what appears to be a priority envelope that I didnt know about. The neighbor saw an envelope but didnt know for sure what type. The only think i can think of that gets delivered with bixes is a priority envelope. All are missing.

Both were marked as delivered. I live on the top floor of my bldg with only 2 neighbors on my floor. Both remember seeing it but didnt take it. There is no reason for anyone else to pass through or access my floor, but I did ask around and no one from the lower levels were up there. Someone came in from the outside and helped themselves to my stuff.

My biggest concern is the envelope since only important documents are sent via priority mail. I wasnt expecting it, so I have no idea if it was bank, insurance or credit card related....or something else.

I put a claim in with the postal service, but there is little that can be done once a package is properly delivered.

This is the first time Ive had vapemail stolen and the first time I had anything stolen from that bldg.

So sad :(

That stinks, Rachel.

The only experience I have with stolen mail is when my wife, who's the treasurer for our HOA, was mailing some vendor checks that she left in our box to be picked up. Some guy must have thought he struck the mother lode when he found checks, some with four figures, ripe for the plucking--except that, with those amounts, every bank needed to verify the amounts and he was picked up when he tried to cash the first one a couple of days later. Since then, we always make sure that outgoing mail gets delivered to an official mailbox or the post office itself.

Dinner is sneaking up, so I've got to sign off for the day. Good night, Treefam!

Wow Rhammer I would really be bummed and mad. Are you sure no one brought it into your place and laid it somewhere and forgot to tell you? I know my husband sometimes forgets to tell me I have mail if he goes out to the mailbox for it. I would think if the priority envelope was some legal papers that a signature would be required but maybe not. I hope it shows up for you - coils and tanks are not cheap. Good luck on your quest to find them

5. Welcome to the Treefam BluLtspcl...you've found one of the best threads on ECF!

Slow, hope you're feeling better soon! Sending you a bunch more healing vibes!

Rachel, that really bites about your mail...I know Blue can relate because she had something similar happen not long ago...I know it's very disappointing. Sorry that happened. Maybe it'll miraculously show up...I hope so anyway.

Bella, I think I might have gone crazy with both no internet and no TV...I'm already crazy enough as it is, so I don't need anything else to push me over the edge! :p...Glad you finally got it back.

Count, I've been tsk'd by Uncle in the past too...although if I recall mine was for pushing the envelope with cats in trees, and I'm not even a cat person...but that's my bad girl streak, just couldn't help myself!

Well I am exhausted...since I only had a couple hours sleep last night, I'm going to call it an early night...house is still a disaster but DIL is doing her best to get things put away between trying to deal with the kids and get them to bed. But at least the U-Haul is gone and her van seems to be working again, so some progress...gotta take what little I can get I guess.

I live alone so it wasnt anyone in my household. I live in a pretty great bldg with great people. The neighborhood itself can be questionable and management could give 2 hoots about theft or anything of the matter happening in the bldg. They run about 30 bldgs in the complex so they couldnt be bothered.

I spoke to the neighbors and the 2 on my floor saw it there, but didnt see anyone take it. Its hard to hear noise in the stairwell from inside. There are only 9 apts in the bldg...3 on each floor. We all know each other for so long and they are pretty trustworthy. We always help each other out by taking in mail or newspapers when one of us goes on vacation, but only when asked.

my neighbor across from me said that any time she sees a package at my door she will take it in for me and hold it till i get home.

I love New Hope ....so many great shops. It's always a treat to go there. We often go when my kids come home to visit as it is a nice day out and about. I've been to the Wilkes Barre/Scranton area but mainly because my job took me there. I've lived here my entire life so I am pretty familiar with most areas. It's a nice area because we're only a little more than an hour to Philadelphia and 2 hrs to Ny so we have small town life but a hop, skip, and a jump away from the big cities. It sure is a small world!!!:tumble::tumble::tumble:

YEP - Sure is, on both counts . . . I lived and worked in New Hope PA/Lambertville NJ for a number of years (first in the early 70's for a year just before I moved into NYC and then again in the late 80's until I moved to Philadelphia in the 90's and went to Temple University to get a Formal Higher Education and change careers) and still have a couple of very close good friends (Actually, They are part of "My" Extended Family) that still live there . . . As for the Wilkes Barre/Scranton Areas & Allentown only drove through sometimes for work when I was the Director of Continuing Education for a National Organization out of Harrisburg - never visited since the Family I have that lives there now, did so after I left PA . . . :D

@ "Slow" & "Rachel" - Can't "Like" either of "Your" post . . . However, I do feel for Ya's . . .

AND - To "EVERYONE" In NEED . . .

"GOOD VIBES" & "Healing Thoughts"

. . . being sent "Your" Way

Once again - For all of the 'Tree-Peeps" already gone to bed and those about to go . . .

Hope Ya' have very restful night and pleasant dreams . . .

It may be just me, but I can't see your picture... Also, you can have five entries each day, so you may want to renumber your post (to "3/30 #1"). That way you can post four more times today. :)

If I look like I'm worried, adjust your glasses...

I've won twice this year, and would just PIF it. Just glad to be here...
