The party last night was terrific. Endless margaritas, mojitos, and some other cocktail whose name eludes me (but was very good), and eight courses of appetizer plates, topped off with bacon baklava soaked in Grand Marnier. Awesome!

Those of us blessed to live in the Pacific Northwest are not used to temperatures in the mid-80s at the end of MAy. It's gonna be a hot one agin today. Gotta go water tree!

Trying out the new hardware today. Really liking the KTS-II paired with the DID set at about 4.1 volts via the kick.

I'm feelin' a little fuzzy today from having 3 beers on a work night, I can only imagine how you must be feelin'.

The food was done by a couple of parents who are chefs--and it was fabulously decadent. I have another event on Sunday: a Mediterranean-cuisine picnic at a local park that was donated by another parent who has a catering business. This one is kid-friendly since there's a playground, but it is one of the only parks that allows alcohol, so there's that going...

I am glad to hear that I am not the only one(not really).....I had 3 fans on and all the windows opened...and it was still 80 inside.......the sun didn't set till after 9:30 so my place was in the direct sun from 4 till then.........I hope it's a little better today....I can't take this heat..

It's been a lovely day here today. The daughter and husband left this morning to go to the zoo and I've been sitting here enjoying having the house to myself.
I had vapemail that was supposed to be delivered today, but it didn't show up. Very upset about that, I needed that juice, but hopefully tomorrow it will be here. It left Memphis last night and hasn't tracked since. It goes from Memphis to my local PO and usually gets here the next day, but it didn't. I went running up to the mailbox just to be disappointed.

1. Morning...oh wait, I mean afternoon, Treefam! I did get home to get my new Woodvil yesterday, but ended up having to go back to the office to get something for the boss and didn't leave there until 6! By the time I got to the bf's all I wanted was my "big drink" and just to relax for the rest of the evening...was out cold by 10!
Did end up finally building a dual coil setup for the atty and got my Woodie up and running a little while ago...she's a real beauty too...I am so happy with it...and vapes great too!
Count, I'm so jealous! Sounds like a great evening to me...now couldn't my kids have had fundraisers like that...I would have been there for every one!

5/29 - 3: Came home to find out someone had mowed my front and side yard, it motivated me so much I just did the entire backyard by hand, the blister on my thumb will hurt tomorrow, but the city can say nothing now. Time to relax.

Back from reading and lunch. Now for a little work before early bed. My daughter's class is visiting Sacramento tomorrow, which means that I need to get her to the airport at 5:30 tomorrow morning. Ugh.
