Good morning, everyone.

That is funny about the Recluce series. Fall of Angels was the second one I read. I've been going thru them by published date and it was on the third or forth one that I figured out they weren't in chronological order - I actually read the last one first.
I don't even know what the last one is. I have four more after Fall of Angels.... I suppose I should see what I'm missing.

1. Morning Treefam...frustrating night last night...stupid driver's window in car, the motor or something in it went out and it got stuck in the down position and kept sliding down all the way home. My son got it back up when I got home, but he can't look at it until tomorrow to see what's wrong so we know what to order to fix it...so no drive thrus for me for a while. Very frustrating because I have to run errands for work that usually involve going through the drive thru. :glare:

Then I get home to find both sides of the sink full of dirty dishes, the garbage can overflowing and the dogs had not been let out and had made a mess in the house...plus the dang cat is on strike apparently and is using my room as a litter box! And of course, no one was home at the time for me to yell at! Talk about being ticked off!:-x

1. Didn't go to bed until 4am, woke up at 9am.:nah: Being sick got my sleep pattern all messed up. I don't mind being up all night, but it would be nice to sleep all day to make up for it.

Ever read the prey series by John Sanford, that is some good reading.
I love John Sanford and have read all of his books :) The Prey series is one of my favorite series.

Good Mornin' / G'Night Tree Fam!

Angel - Ugh, what a night! :-x They should know to have the place picked up, if not during, at least by the time you get home! :nah:

Shawn - Have a great rafting trip!

Uncle - You were in a dream I had this morning! More on that later...

I'm running late which is uncharacteristic for me. ;)

Have a great day, everyone!

2.
Angel, sorry about your car. I'd be ...... too about the house. They are grown and know better. Even if they let it go all weekend they should have been smart enough to get it clean before you got home. That's what I used to do as a teenager and my parents went out of town for the weekend.

I tried a chicken and waffles vape the other day.. all I can say is... just don't do it. It was terrible. I had to scrub my tongue.

Yeah, it's all the little things piling up like that, that got to me! And yeah, the kids should know better, they are all adults and they know when I get home...sometimes I don't think they have any common sense!:glare:

OH MY -
smiley-face-swearing.gif

AND - Just another reason to avoid any & all felines . . . Matter of fact, while a friend of mine was in the hospital for 2 weeks, his 4 cats did the same thing all over his apartment (although there was someone taking care of them) - even in kitchen cabinets that were closed, in and on the computer/printer, closets, etc. . . . Ya' get the idea . . . I was told by other Friends that run a shelter and rescue dogs & cats that this will only happen when cats are left alone, especially for long periods of time to show Ya' who's boss . . . I'd be . . .

3. Uncle, I totally hear ya on the cat thing. I am not a cat person. This is my son's cat, but he couldn't take it with him when he went to college. The cat only likes him and tolerates his twin brother, but hates the rest of us. She takes anti-social to a whole new level!

She had been living in my son's room and was fine with that, but when my oldest and his family had to move in a couple months ago, they took over that room and she got displaced. She has taken up residence in my room, hiding behind the bed or in the closet, but she was going out to use her box and eat. Now she goes out to eat, but is refusing to use her box. I told my son who is coming home from college today that he had better find her a new home because I can't deal with her anymore and she's clearly not happy. My house is crazy enough as it is, I don't need a psycho cat too! :glare:

Isn't it amazing how we end up keeping creatures we never wanted or asked for?...(but I do believe they are there for a reason)...once again Angel...I am so sorry...I am even sorry there was no one around to yell at......that would have made it a little better....

4. Haha, thanks Blue. I actually did get a chance to yell at them once they got home, and yes it did help! :p...As for the kitty cat, I just feel sorry for her. I try to make friends with her, and sometimes she'll come alongside my chair and let me pet her for a minute, but then she runs off to hide. She's always been like this. She really does only like my son. He's going to be staying with his dad while he's home this time and I've suggested to him that he ask his dad if he'll take her in. He loves cats and she would have a home there with no kids running around and could have a room to herself if that's what she wanted. I'm hoping he'll take her in. She deserves a place where she doesn't have to hide all the time.
