Hey Halons. Long time no type. So since it's become second nature to me to puff away on my Triton and SubZero during the workday now, I rarely actually look at the tank closely. But today I noticed that the glue that holds the bottom of the tank together has become extremely... well, visible. I'd take a photo but my iPhone camera has a ton of dirt stuck inside the lens. :(

Anyway, it's hard to describe, but basically I can now see a line around the whole circumference of the tank where the glue is, and it's gotten a little discolored (vaguely like the color of my juice). Is this a totally normal sign of usage for the Triton/T2 or should I treat it like it's disposable and just open a new tank? This tank is over 6 months old, and I do have 2 still wrapped in plastic, so it's not a big deal. Thanks!

its normal for the "glue to become visable"

when you notice it leak from that area - youl see a gap in the glue - then it would be a good time to toss it.

i miss my T2's but i dont miss buying the coils for them...

Cool, thanks for such a quick reply. These things have not leaked on me once so I guess I'm doing pretty well. I'll just keep on keepin' on. Fingers crossed.

I've never noticed it before with mine but I feel like everyone else. It is probably fine but if your still worried what is $6.99 compared to your health just to be safe. :)

At my last check up my doctor evaluated my life as worth $6.98, so I've got to stretch this tank as far as it will go.
