Just sent my two beloved GLV mini's in for makeovers. Getting one in a matte black and one in chrome/purple flip flop. That one is getting the new headcap also. I am so stoked. I bought the first one used and the color combo was black lava/black sparkle. Personally I didn't like the combo at all. So, thank God Jay does makeovers. Now the waiting begins.

How much to have them repainted while they are in for a head cap redo?Any idea?My 5v needs some TLC,LOL!

The repaints are only $10 for the mini or supermini and $15 for the 5V. I think that is so reasonable. I am gonna have two like new GLV's. I am stoked. That green apple color is hot! I also love the orange sparkle! What happened to your spring, how did it get detached?

Thought I'd throw out a pic of my freshly re-coated super mini.

I hear ya. I sold my mini only to buy another one a week later because I missed it so much. Then I sent it in to be painted. It's awesome, if you get sick of the color you can get it painted for $10 anytime you want. If I can stand to be without it for a week or two.

I'lL be honest with you.Parting with my 5v was a hard thing to do.I wanted it fixed up but I didnt want to let it go for 2-3 weeks. It took me quite a while to build up the courage to put it in the mail.Im having separation anxiety with out it.I love my little mini but my 5v is my pacifier all day.It hardly leaves my hand.
