Well aren't THEY gonna regret choosing outside the sweet spot huh !! lol.....

Maybe down the road Jay, you can look at a switch to bypass the resistor should someone want to have that option... however, it would certainly be a shock to throw the switch and vape a 7.2v shot (obviously for a very very short period, haha).

The Only advantage I see with resistor free is you could vape at 3.7 also w/ battery config.
5v is better than 6v, but you cant do 3.7v with the present setup w/resistor.

So it might be nice.

Wish you could do 5 and 3.7v in the present setup, but 5v is awesome.

Having done 6v for some time on other PVs, I found 5v is the sweet spot and saves on attys too..

I've had much success with vaping at 6v+. I think it's more like 7.2v with two fully charged 3.0v cr123a. The most important thing to remember is to keep the atomizer moist. The drip method seems to work the best at the higher volts. I would not recommend 6v+ for those who like to use carts. Just thought I would put my two cents in. 5v is great, but some of us hedonistic nicotine feens need even more. Cheers.

I like that idea, but why not just sell heads without a resistor instead of a whole body? Sooner or later there are going to be some people like me who already have long 5/6v body tubes, but just want head's with or without resistors. 5v really is a sweet spot though. My 510 attys and KR cartomizers work really, REALLY well at 5v.

yeah the resistor is in the head. really the only problem with putting a new head on your existing body is that the atty connector might not line up properly with the laser etching on the body. this would only be a minor cosmetic problem for some. if no one really cared about the atty connecter being lined up properly with the etching you could change heads easily.

Yeah. I dont know what I was thinking when I made the last post..lol

Why not just sell non resistor heads? I guess Jays thought of that huh?
i think he might be considering it. he just started selling these so hes really trying to figure out what everyone wants and im sure he will try to accomidate us as much as possible. give him time and we will be seeing some nice things to come.

6linkslam,

I'll be able to confirm that this week when an aditional adaptor I ordered comes in. Will let you know if it makes a difference or not with a different one.

-Greg
confirm what exactly? the fact that the atty connector might not line up with the etching? i have been talking to jay about lots of things and one of them was about the heads lining up properly with etching. when they are built the heads are screwed onto the tubes and then the atty connectors are welded on then the etching is done on them to line up with the atty connector. they are all different.

Hello All, This is for anyone that knows alot about the GLV, I have ordered both a 3.6 and 5.0v tell Me if I am right on this, the 5.0v takes two 3.0v Batt. and the resstor in the top only allows 5.0v to get to the Addy. and same gose for the 3.6 it take two 3.0v and only lets 3.6 to the Addys. now that I have read this thing about leaving the resstor out. I Myself found 6V to be to hot for Me and believe 5.0v just mite be goog but just in case I got the 3.6v on order also. Dose anyone know what order number His is on mine is 148.

Thank You,

Don
