Who knows... it's probably safe. But then again... this is stuff you're taking into your lungs. So make sure.

I only get DIY juice ingredients from vaping websites I trust. I know they've checked it out and it's used for vaping. I don't even use the USP VG from the USA pharmacies that everyone on here seems to recommend frequently. I think my last order was about $8.00 for a year's supply of VG.... and I got it while getting the nic base.

OTOH... I've had some VG that didn't agree with me... and it was from a lower-cost vaping website. Not all ingredients are created equal.

BTW... I'm fully aware that I was a "leaf burner" for 30 years. lol. But I'm trying to reform!

I also had a look at some glycerin at local pharmacy, also didn't say food grade or anything. But the liquid was very shiny and 'oily' looking, so I thought "NO way I'm vaping that..." Probably safe to take in orally (mouth sore ect), but not for inhalation!

That's how VG looks. It's quite thick. If you stick your finger in, it's pretty sweet.

I have a whole gallon I got for free from P&G. Remember when they were sending out freebies? I don't know what I'm going to do with it all and it'd be too expensive to ship to anyone. I might bring it to a vapefest and give it away.

In the UK it must say:

Glycerine, BP
or
Glycerine, EU

It must say exactly that on the label or it can be anything. Don't touch anything else as it won't be pharmaceutical grade, which is the only grade you should inhale. Other grades can have several per cent contaminants, it's not important for food because the digestive system can take care of it.

There are 4 grades:
Industrial Grade
Agricultural Grade
Food Grade
Pharmaceutical Grade [inhalation]

You can add from 5% to 20% distilled water to it, to thin it out. This is normal. In fact you must add at least 5% to it, for several reasons.

Of course, you can vape anything you like, but the only material advised for inhalation says 'Glycerine, BP' on the label. Other products are very likely to have a higher percentage of contaminants.
