Just had to note something that I am really enjoying - smelling my own clothes after I take them off. Yeah. I said it. I smelled my dirty laundry. And you know what? It FREAKIN' ROCKS! No more nasty ashtray smell. No longer am I the stinky one! I have always, always hated the way my clothes smelled and was embarrassed by the fact that my nasty habit was obvious by anyone standing near me. It is not just laundry either. My hair, my breath, even my purse smelled like smoke. Not any more.

I may still be working out my favorite flavors, the exact type of hardware that is my favorite and whether or not I plan to quit nicotine all together one day but one thing is for sure, I LOVE the way I smell.

I found that to be an unexpected joy for me as well. My wife also enjoys that fact that I no longer smell like an ashtray.

I say it was unexpected because when I smoked I was convinced that the smell was not that bad. Boy was I wrong. I can smell smoke on someone from 30 ft away now. And I am embarrassed that I ever smelled like that.

Just make sure not to smell your dirty socks. vaping so does NOT improve the smell of those!

Yeah, that's one thing my wife also enjoys. I no longer smell like an ashtray. That and she no longer has to kiss one either.

Along with the good smells come the bad. I love it that my clothes smells great, but I can smell other things. The Kittys litter box. and the car. I never knew how smelly they are!

The wife also says I no longer "stink"...I asked her why she never said anything and she just said there was nothing at the time I could do about it and would just make me feel even worse about my habit. Funny thing is although I HATE the taste of analogs the cigarette smell doesn't bother me nor does it give me the urge...this is completely opposite of other smoking cessation progs I tried.

Had the same feeling. We smoked indoors before I moved. Then I smoked outdoors for a bit. Then I quit and washed every piece of clothing I have. Sure makes a big difference. Now when i got for job interviews I no longer have to worry about smelling like smoke. And even better, no longer have to worry about being embarrassed about the smell of the house when having guests over. Really enjoying having all the benefits of non smoky smell everywhere.

You are correct. Now when I stand next to someone that smokes they wreak, nasty. I can't believe I used to smell like that.
