hmmm telling people to buy a bolt then telling them not to buy any china stuff. OP you do know the bolt is made in china don't you?

lol so its a link full of chinese mod clones and mechanical copies how funny, they cant even put their name on the home page (some of the mods are nice though)
Although I recommend the Bolt and Provari all of the time, I think that there are many, many other routes to go when starting out- and many, many suppliers that sell reputable merch. In the past 6 months alone, I've received orders from at least 15 different suppliers, and the majority of the stuff I ordered came as-expected, sometimes better.
In reality, over the past 4 years, the higher priced mods have not been any more or less consistent in perceived quality (kind of a measure of what you paid for a device, how well it works, and what it's made of/how well it's made) than the Chinese. I think that Chinese devices have, these days, achieved a higher value-per-dollar, compared to the expensive stuff.
That being said, you cant make a Honda civic into a Ferrari.

I agree, one of my favorite devices if the Sigelei SS Telescope with an AGA-T on it, works very well and ok the AGA is wider than the top of the telescope but I like it

That being said not E1 wants to drive a Ferrari! I have found in my limited experience that most APV are fine but the clearos and the juice is more important. I have tried eGo - good battery and still going; Volts from Smokeless Image still going strong and a KGO vv. Love the vv. Much as I love playing with my toys, I have no inclination to go to units I put batteries into. Maybe when I further down the road that might appeal, but living and learning the above batteries have been a really good start in the pleasures of vaping.
These discussions remind me of the verbal battles over Apple Macs and the lowly PC!!
And, hey, orbach, don't be jealous of the kitty - don't know what its got there!!! LOL

I always liked to tinker so it was always a PC for me!! Apple Mac's always kept the doors shut!
This is not to make anyone mad I have spent lots of money on all kinds of pvs,this is just to give new people a option that is easy and mabe save them some cash,I wish I would have known what I know now when I started.I also know the Bolt is made in china but the price is pretty much the same all over the net and it works really well and is simple to use for new people.In other words it would be hard for them to get ripped off on a Bolt. 1)you know it works well 2)go to a few websites,find the best price 3)Buy it and puff away.I also recomend the bolt because you do not see the vendors putting their logo on them and marking them up a ton more.Ok let me make it even more simple,Bolt (A) a black crackle coated Bolt costs $40 at website (#1) Bolt (B) a black crackle coated one also,but with a logo etched or painted on it, lets say it says Vapor Dawg down the side with a small pic of a bull dog on it costs $90.even a person new to ecigs would say hey it is the same thing without the logo and picture that logo is not worth the extra money.The bolt and provari are also battery mods.Buying these ego batteries and stuff is okay if thats what you like just get them as cheap as you can.do not pay for a dumb logo.That is why I put up Smoke Revots link,his prices are cheap and that little tube is made well.I am not advertising for him I just want people to save money and buy something that will last and they will like.So sorry if I made anyone mad I so wish I would have just bought a Provari a year ago and not all this other stuff but you live and learn.Also to the person hinting around about china stuff being right below a Provari now.No ,No its not I have had them all and they are not even in the same ballpark.why pay $120 for some chinese vv when for $160 you can have a Provari.In the car terms thats like paying 18 grand for a Kia,when for 22 grand you could have bought that ferrari.But who cares this is to help new people.My personal experence is if you want vv buy a Provari it just works really well.Here is that $160 blimish link Blem ProVari V2 Satin Black .
