APOLOGIES for a long post. I hope someone still responds despite the length. I just want to be through as much as I can....

I have 5 go-go cartos. all of them now used.

I tried refilling and here is what has been happening:

I tried refilling by removing rubber cap (mouth end) and dripping eliquid along the inside walls of the carto.

I do:
a) 10 drops on one side, then wait a few seconds for eliquid to be absorbed, and then;
b) 10 drops on another side and let it sit for about 5 minutes or so;
c) repeat steps a + b above about 4 times/iterations;

I do this refilling part when I taste the carto has a dry/"slightly (yet quite nasty) burnt" taste

Problem/s:
1. Sometimes 2nd iteration of steps a+b above already causes eliquid to drip on battery end. I heard these Go-Go cartos can take about 90 - 100 drops. Is that true/right?
2. The taste. I have 2 types of eliquid: Vapor4Life's Cappuccino (18mg) and CigEasy's Carmel Mocha (24mg). I used both of them for refilling (until eliquid starts to drip on battery end). The taste seems harsh than in the past (KR808d carts). I can not describe the taste but it is kinda spicy or has a bite to tongue and throat. Even on a fresh refill. Everytime, I use a freshly charged battery too.

What I have tried so far:
I) soak 2 cartos in water overnight 3 times. then let air dry 48 - 72 hours. This seems to always cause Problem #1 above. Not dry enough?
II) remove material by using tweezers and rinsing and air drying them. Then I stuff it back in the carto. Problem #1 does not happen until 3rd or 4th iteration of steps a+b above.

Regardless, taste is still kinda harsh (Problem #2 above) and I can never get more than 80 drops in it. Is it my eliquid? I don't think so because on my KR808's, they taste fine.

Help a Go-Go newbie? :confused:

ddg874 caught me in another thread talking about this http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/ego-type-models/175310-users-guide-gogo-8.html so I will be brief.....yea right...I'm never brief....

I have been unable to vape 18mg and over in my go-go as the harshnesh is way too much ALTHOUGH I have been vaping 6mg for a month, sooooo....my point is it might not be too harsh for a regular 18mg+ user. The 18mg did not seem so harsh when I using an Ego-T. That's all I can say about that with my low experience.

I refill mine using a syringe and my carts that came with the Go-Go only took 2.25ml of juice. Period. Even then some would start dripping.
My new carts take almost 3ml. There is more filler in these, it is obvious to see.
The extra carts I ordered from cigeasy last week have been great so far. No issues whatsoever.

I suggest ordering a new 5-pack of carts. I have been very happy with my Go-Go since.
My main vaping cart with banana cream pie is just now starting to taste like it needs some cleaning or something after 3 days of pretty heavy use and constant refilling. But it doesn't taste burnt like my first ones. It just tastes like the coil needs to be cleaned.

I am currently using 50/50 6mg juice.

Also, when I fill mine, even using a syringe I pretty much just drip it (I don't stick the needle down into the foam) and follow pretty closely to what you do. I fill it with .5ml, let it sit, fill it with .5ml, let it sit, repeat until it starts dripping. I mainly like the syringe because I know exactly how much juice is going in.

Also part II, you'd be surprised how much water is still in those carts after cleaning. I wouldn't be surprised if even after 3 days of letting it sit there was still water in them. If you have access to a ceiling fan - try my Stabbie's Carto Centrifugal Ceiling-fan Drying Method otherwise known as SCCCDM (patent pending). I think I mention this in the same user's guide thread. But make sure your wife or significant other is out shopping or something. :)

Also, .........nah, just kidding, that was the last 'also'.

You can get about 100 drops with a new carto but after that refills are about 80. I've been using mine for over a month and it works great. It is the most consistant PV I've found. It might be your juice if it is a heavy VG it might not wick as good as say 80-20 PG.

I am not sure about the VG:pG ratio of Vapor4Life eliquids but thanks for the insight/opinion.

@Stabbie:

LOL. I am not a big fan of brief and incomplete responses. this is not too long at all! My post was also not brief. :) anyways...

I might have to order some new carts then for my go-go because now that you are mentioning it, I was quite satisfied with it when I was going through those new cartos. Now that am refilling them, am starting to notice the "not-so-brand-new" issues with the kit-based cartos.

As far as the juice, like what I said above to txtumbleweed, I don't know the VG:pG ratio for V4L eliquids. Not even for CigEasy eliquids. I can not find info on the recipe/ratios out there on the web.

speaking of VG/PG, I got some VG WOW eliquids (I have not used yet on the GoGo carts, only on my old Kr8 cartos) that I bought by mistake. They are waaaay too thick. what do most people use to thin them out? any recommendations on where to get PG and do I jsut mix and shake?:confused: i don't really care for the nicotine strength cause these were 0mg's that I got when I was being unrealistic. lol.

As for the syringe, is it really much much better to use one instead of the drip/drop method I see int he videos on youtube?

as for drying it, I don't have a ceiling fan but am researching on other ways to spin these. Perhaps a mod'd desk fan that can run outside or inside the hous with the tape/paper towel "cap".

THANKS a lot again for the ideas/insights/opinion. I appreciate it. Benn aping for a while but I was a little hesitant to ask around. Don't ask me why.

(How's that for a short one? lol)

HAPPY VAPING!!!!

You can buy straight PG from almost any vendor that sells juice. I cut my juice with it to lower down the mg level. Depending on how much you use it can change the flavor.

I use the syringe filling new carts because it is a little easier than counting drips and some bottles dont drip very fast but I usually do most refills dripping. That is another good thing about the Go-cart is if you are using a whistle tip or drip tip you don't have to mess with the little cap plug, just pull off the tip and fill it up and your good to go for the whole day.

I just got my gogo yesterday and im using the prefilled coffee cart (I think its 16-18mg) and its definitely harsher than anything else ive tried......and the coffee flavor is pretty nasty.

Im going to have to order blank cartos and put my own liquid in there. I thought it was harsh because of a lack of juice so i topped off and only got 30 or so drops in there before it started leaking through the battery.

how long does a full carto usually last you with moderate vaping?
