I'm so frustrated right now on this dang thing I’m about to just throw it away in the garbage and buy a pack of smokes.

this is my first e-cig, bought it a month ago, worked great until about a week ago, 1 battery started acting weird, what happens is when I screw down a carto the light just blinks 3 times, if I slowly unscrew the carto it will fire, wouldn’t fire all the way screwed down, stupid thing charged for 10 hours.
when I looked here for a solution someone said to pry the little center conductor up a little on the battery, whoever gave this advice was wrong, dead wrong, I barely even pried up on it and the whole freaking thing popped up, also it started to smoke and got really hot, threw it in the sink because I thought it was going to explode or something.

so I sent that battery back, now this second one is doing the same damn thing, carto wont fire, just
blinks 3 times until I unscrew the carto to get some kind of sweet spot on the battery and it fires. Also now I tried to put it on the charger and it won’t even blink 3 times to charge.

That was my last battery, and I don’t have anything to smoke now, guess its back to cigarettes for now, if this e-cig is really the best like everyone says it is then I think I’m going to wait until they make one that doesn’t cause me a headache.

It can be frustrating, most of this stuff is made in China, and I doubt anyone will be able to diagnose your problem. Anything I could say would just be a guess. But if it makes you feel any better we have all been there, dead batteries, doa atties and cartos. But in the end the expense and frustration of the early switch to e-cigs is still worth it. And if you think dealing with a few bad batteries or cartomizers is bad, go to a retirement home and check out a few 30+ year smokers lugging around their oxygen tanks and hacking up lungs. Im not saying that to be nasty, just pointing out how frustrating it can be, in the long run, if you don't get off regular cigs. Anyways good luck.

ohh man sounds like you got your self either a 1st gen gogo or a knockoff ..

anyhow this will help you :

1. charger ... unscrew 2 screws , take out all the electronics and metal thread ..... take a 500-1000 sanding paper, sand down the end of the charger about 0.2 to 0.3mm .... This should take care of the charging problem.

2. Carto blinking 3 times - The coil of the carto is not being soldered to the center pin .... best thing to do is pry out the middle contact pin from the carto, realign the coil pin looking out and re-insert the pin ....

NEVER EVER Touch the center pin of the battery like some one suggest you to do , ones its out the whole thing needs to be disassembled to properly make it work again ... which is a whole project by itself (resoldering battery contacts etc). Been there not a fun project.

Hope this info helps a bit ...

Overall the gogo is a good unit , some of the first generation batteries are just crap .... have a total of 4 of them right now on my desk ...

the 2nd gen ones are much better !!! ....

Also there are alot of "GOGO" batteries around which are not made by the original manufacture (yes even the chinese make nice copies of each other :) ...

I hooked all my friends on the gogo unit overall for a month no complaints ... besides the issue with the charger which I found a quick fix .....

I'm having the same problem with mine as well. Both batteries charged fine the first time. when one of them started to blink I tried to recharge it but it would not recharge. I went ahead and used the other until it started to blink but it also would not recharge. I was originally going to get the ego t with LR atty. I got the go-go because I read how much better the flavor was compared with the ego t, but I'm ordering the ego t now. I also discovered that I hate cartomizers and am willing to give the tank system a try. Also I found that the go-go did not work well with all my juices. It worked well with alien Visions tobacco juices but with the Vape Rite tobacco juice( which tasted fine on the blu-cig) after a few good hits they all tasted burnt. also if I don't like the tank I can use the ego t battery with a different set up on it. With the go-go your stuck because nothing else works with the battery.
