I picked up a Goblin rta and as a newb, just got it built and vaping on a Kanger Kbox at low watts at 13-20w at this time. Glacial Vapor's Dragonian Blood, 60/40 juice.

It vapes well and the flavor is really good (so far and at this time)

But, I'll have to say that this RTA is probably not the greatest for a beginner to build. The deck is small and the parts are also small, it is easy to short it out with an incorrect build. I watched a few vids on the build and pretty much copied what they did.

I wanted to try a different RTA than the Kanger mini that I am currently trying to optimize. (Lots of time and tinkering with this vape hardware! ! ! ! !

Anyone else have experience with the Goblin RTA?

i recently got a goblin and i have to say it has replaced all my kayfuns, i also found it not too bad to build on but then again i have been building on kyfuns for a while, the falvor and vapor beats them out by far, and the price is great, for beginers tho i would proly still suggest a lemo or kayfun.

While I have not owned the goblin, the deck looks similiar to the 4 post orchid I used to use. You have to be very careful to be sure the coils are wrapped carefully and not shorting on the deck or the chimney. It does have 4 posts. so you don't have to double up on connections (2x like the fogger v4, or just the positive for 3 post designs.

I've switched to single coil RTAs for simplicity - the Lemo is my favorite.

I personally learned on a larger 3 post RDA (Tugboat V2) before trying my hand at the more confined spaces offered by dual-coil tanks.

Great atty but yes not the best for first timers.
Currently I'm at 26g 2mm 6.5wraps 0.3-4Ω and vaping 30 watts. You could do more wraps to increase the resistance.
Your coils need to be away from the blocks and the side of the chamber and not touch the top part of the chamber when you screw that on.

With the small chamber area I find I run the goblin at lower watts than I would for say a dripper with larger area.

Look up trevor jones on youtube for his build on the goblin , follow his wicking technique.

I would recommend a Lemo to someone looking at getting into RTAs. I have a Goblin, but it really is designed for low-ohm, high(er) power vaping. And setting it up isn't the easiest for someone just starting out.

I have one. It's a pain for me, it leaks bad out of the air hole if I do hard pulls or don't roll up a paper towel to soak up the juice quick enough. Haven't used it in a week.

Mine did the same thing and I recoiled and redid the wicking a couple times a day trying to get it right.

This is a long video, but skip to around the 30 minute mark. Doing the wicks this way has made mine almost leak-proof.

Also, if you're doing hard pulls, you're pulling more e-liquid into the wick and coil area through vacuum action, and whatever isn't vaporized (and cannot be absorbed and held by the wick) is going to drain out of the chamber through the air holes. More power may help.
