Just Arrived!
GO GO TANKS
Your going to have to wait a couple of days for SSV2's Review.
He has only sampled the proto-types.
So far I am the one and only to vape the Final version.

T as in tank that is....;)

After months of testing various tanks with different coil placements, long wick, medium wick and small wick versions, the last prototype I put through the paces seemed pretty decent but, IMO needed a few little added tweaks before it could really be ready for prime time. Frank says this one (final version) hits all the bases and features all the revised tweaks.

I am going to have to put a few of them to the test before the weekend to confirm!

I will post my thoughts soon.

What are the tweaks that makes them better since you've mentioned this ? just wondering how there different from others out there. Is the wick the same, ohms the same ? tubes the same ? what ? be nice to not need an adapter

Hi mwa102464,

I was referring only to the previous prototype sample tanks that we received over the last 6 months or so that were designed exclusively to work with the Go-go model.

There were about three distinct variants with the latter demo we received performing the best out of the previous samples.

The updated tweaks that are now implemented with the final product include :

4 well defined air vents at base instead of two as with previous demo's *Not as airy of a draw in comparison to standard Go-go tanks.

Final version threads much easier to battery and still looks ergonomic without a cone.

Demo version had a bronse colored base - final version is silver hence matches up with Go-go's silver band. (cosmetic)

Resistance (ohms) on final version is consistent with Frank's personal specifications at approx. 2.5 ohm range. At least 3 out of 3 that I tested right out of the same pack were spot on. I intend to test a few more packs over the weekend to get a mean average.

3.0 ohms or above on some of the demo's were too light of a vape for my personal liking. Some of the prevoius demos that were 2.2 -2.4 ohm range vaped a bit to harsh for these types of tanks from my experience.

2.5 -2.8 ohms seems to be the sweet spot for the Go-go. (Again this is just my personal opinion and preference)

The fact that these were designed to work with the Go-go without a adapter is a big plus!

I will try to post more thoughts/observations within the next couple of days. I have several packs to play with over the weekend!:p

These new Go-tanks are a step above the Go-carts! The flavor is significantly better! Not needing an adapter is a relief! I am planning on using these instead of the Go-carts but am having to adjust my style. SSV2 and I've been discussing the appropriate way to use it, needing to be sure and tilt the tank over before taking a hit to make sure the liquid gets to the atomizer. SSV2 recommended this after I told him I got a few burnt tasting hits after the liquid had dropped to half-full. This technique works so I just have to remember to do it.

Over time, after several refills, the Go-carts start tasting stale, but the new Go-tanks seem to get better with refills. I am using more liquids, but I think the better taste is worth it.
