I've been vaping for 3 or 4 months now and I think I might have a problem with PG - chest tightness and headaches. The headaches are not always there, but sometimes I get them even when I am fully hydrated and have not been vaping too much. Anyway, I'm gonna do a little experiment and see what happens.

I'm a little bummed because a couple of my favorite juices (Tribeca and Kentucky Premium) do not come 100% VG, and I have a lot of juice that is gonna have to sit for a while. I told myself that I was not gonna buy any more juice for a while... oh well.
Fortunately I love AVE and HHV and know that I can get 100% VG from them, thinking about trying some Copper Creek tobaccos.

I'm a sweet tobacco guy, any recommendations for good tobacco @ 100% VG?

I'm going all VG as well. Here's a list I've made of vendors that will do 100% VG. Some of these have not been confirmed. I just scribbled them as I read posts here.

Highbrow Vapors (confirmed)
Heather's Heavenly Vapes (confirmed)
Alien Visions (confirmed)
Johnson Creek (confirmed)
Ahlusions
Copper Creek
The Vapor Room
Liberty Flights
D&D Vapor
Velvet Vapors
Ikenvape
Rawr Vapor
Pink Spot (maybe?, they customize)
Want2vape (only Vapenstein Blend Paris)

There's a thread floating around here with "PG is my worst nightmare" in the title. Within that thread someone called I think FlLori or LoriFl or something similar has made a group for all VG people and I believe she said she compiled a list of VG vendors as well. I gotta look that up myself one day soon.

What kind of issues are you having with VG? I too had chest tightness, stuffy nose, headache, rash on my face, burning eyes, etc.

I never experienced tightness in the chest - that could be because i cannot vape very much of it, like only one day worth of vaping and I wake up the next day with mouth ulcers so bad I can barely eat for the next 2 days. I also noticed blurry vision on the days I did try PG based juice. That and really strange headache.

I think it's a very good thing that of all the ecig cig-a-like vendors out there i happened to pick Blu, because their prefilled cartomizers are VG only juice made by Johnsons Creek. If I had picked another vendor and had those issues, I probably would have freaked out and given up on the idea of ecigs to quit smoking cigs.

The thread would be: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/general-e-liquid-discussion/327940-venders-please-explain-pg-my-worse-nightmare.html

I like The Vapor Room for 95 to 100% VG. (Depends on flavoring.) Their tobacco line - the stuff with no added flavoring like vanilla, hazelnut etc. - is 100 VG. TVR has a statement on the site in the "TVR Juice" tab about their ingredients and the 100 VG matter.

See my post here about how to work the best deal on a first time order at TVR: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/new-members-forum/331944-who-has-cheapest-sample-packs.html#post7191519 Besides the 6 ml sampler pack I mentioned they have a 3 ml pack too.

I haven't met a TVR tobacco yet I didn't like. :p In general, I find their tobacco flavors (except menthol) need a +1 flavor shot. But flavor shots in their fruit and bakery flavors can be too much of a good thing.

I'm with you on this one......I've recently lowered my nicotine levels in my juice orders, so I have been vaping a lot more, however, the stuff that's got more of the PG in it is making me feel like I'm going to get bronchitis, I know that feeling oh so well. I slow down on it and vape the 50/50 PG/VG blend I have and the bronchial issues seem to clear up pretty quick.

I'm slowly moving to a more VG based vape, as I don't have the troublesome ailments you mentioned, mine's a bit different. I can tolerate PG ok, and I've continued to use it because I enjoy some of the flavors so much! My problem is just a contact dermatitis skin rash that is rather benign, although PG seems to exacerbate it, annoying when it itches like crazy. I'm slowly shifting my orders from my favorite vendors to more of a VG ratio to see if it helps. Hopefully in the future, more vendors will take note of this and offer more options.

I love Halo Tribecca as well, but man when I vape it straight for a couple weeks I break out like crazy. Have you tried HHV's Heavenly Tobacco?

The great thing about vaping is there is no right nor wrong way to do it. It's strictly an what ever works for you endeavor. Pure VG didn't work too well for me. With top coil systems it seems to have more problems wicking. Also, it coated the inside of my vehicle windows with a FILM in less than a week. Not as bad, and takes longer now I'm using 75/25 VG/PG blend. JMHO

Cheers,

Since you listed AVE as a supplier you already use and since you asked for a sweet tobacco recommendation: AVE 555. --> I buy ~180ml of juice per month. 100ml of that is AVE 555.

Interesting, I am a 100%VG guy now due to allergies to PG. I vape mostly AVE. AVE's 555 does not have a sweet taste to me :).

However, Boba's, Gorilla, Bees Knees, and Havanna Gold (slightly sweet) are all on the sweet side. Blend 4, 555, Flue Cured are not (to me).

Reducing PG too.

I made a new mix, please comment if it is OK or NOT ?
%75 VG, %15 PG %10 distilled water. No nicotine - No flavor.
Can i use this ? IS it safe ?

(bought a couple bottles of flavors from local spice store. Mint and Vanilla amazing. But read e few articles stating that EO (essential oil) which those store flavors contain, may be risky for our health/lungs. So i m not using those as flavor right now altough i wanted to, cause i dont trust the online flavors)

Thanks for the responses.

I do love AVE 555 - Boba's is awesome, but 555 is my favorite from them. To me it has none of the typical 555 characteristics - I get a bit of spice and almost floral taste from it. Hoping to get an order in to AVE soon but I'm always working when they are open.

Re: The Vapor Room - their 555 was my first all day vape, still have 90 mls @ 50/50.

Re: Tribeca - great juice, wish Halo had a VG option. They don't disclose their ratios but it is the thinnest juice I own.
